Wrong attribute for mordschlag

hi there,
i was happy to see some historic german classes like doppelsöldner fit with skills that actually made sense in the meaning.
a “doppelsöldner” (ger. for ‘double mercanary’, but söldner (mercanary) also has it roots in the german word “sold” which is the payment) got his name for the fakt that he was a mercanary that recieved double or more payment because he was willing to fight in dangerous positions like the frontlines, or has special equipment other söldner didn´t have.
the skill “double pay earn” is therefore the PERFECTLY fitting skill for a doppelsöldner. More reward, but more danger to himself.
The fact that the developer did take that into account made me realy happy.
But
there is a attribute for the skill “mordschlag” also a german word ^^ ( roughly translated: murder-blow)
it is a technique where you take the sword on the blade and hit with the handle, so it´s used as a blunt weapon.
The main reason to do something rather uncommon is because a cutting weapon like a sword won´t do much damage againt a heavy plated enemy.
so you use it as a blunt weapon and hit him on the head ^^

but now there is this talent:

“When you are attacking an enemy with [Mordschlag] that is defending with Cloth, damages will be critical.”

wouldn´t an additional damage or a stun chance againts heavy armor be the more reasonable skill?
because i wouldn´t bother to try a mordschlag on an enemy with cloth armor, where cutting with a sword works perfectly fine.

sorry for the long post
thank you for reading
^^

Well, it’s a Hit type attack, so it already get +50% damage against plate type enemies.

The attribute is probably to let it be powerful against cloth enemies too, while against plate you can still crit for more damage.
(And yes Slash does work fine on cloth, +50% damage fine)

yea…but why give a hit attack a bonus against cloth armor?
i mean mordschlag in real life was used against plate armor, not against cloth

if they wanted to add something more realistic, they could add a stun chance, or some other effect
