No. You won’t even be able to log in. That’s how retarded the game is right now.
Not in its current state, no. I’m pretty sure the current server issues are self-explanatory enough.
Yes. I will recommend all of them just try it at least. Well basically I just get bored with those 3rd person view mmorpg, which most of them heavily shows off their graphic but lack of gameplay content or, more or less they having the same gameplay with different sprites. -_-
edit : this excludes all the community, connection and technical errors. By gameplay itself i would recommend it.
If you have friends coming to play with you, then it wont hurt to at least try. You need to have the mentality that game is still in beta stages and its far from perfect. I’ve notice that most complaints about this game are from oversees, so if you live in the states, you have less to worry about.
No. It’s getting worst as hell especially the searching party system
I really want to invite my friend to join my server and guild, but the game at this current state stop me from doing that.
I dont want to see my friend depressed after found these problems
Nope.
Too many problems, too little response
Game has potential but right now I think the wrong company is standing behind it ruining it before it can use its potential.
Sure. As a free title, it’s worth trying out without a doubt. However, these are the current large issues present in the game which may make or break it for you:
Poor optimization
The game will drop to single-digit FPS when in large crowds with effects going on most good computer setups. Places this is likely to happen at are World Bosses and Guild PvP. The staff stated they’re working on it, but as of now, this is how it is.
Issues with Server(s)
The SEA and SA servers have ongoing issues with connectivity/latency. Every now and then, the other servers may experience problems also, mainly with entering dungeons.
Gimped Trading/Marketing
Whether or not this is a big issue depends on you. As a free player, your use of the Market (Auction House) is very limited. You can only post up 1 item at a time, you pay a tax fee of 30%, and you have to wait for 48 hours before receiving the payment after it gets sold. At the cost of about $18, a Token user (Pseudo-subscription for a Month that’s bought from the Cash Shop or the Auction House) can post up to 10 items, and Tax is at 10%. Silver is also untradeable via 1:1 trading.
That aside, I’m assuming you already know enough about the games good qualities, the main ones being the Class system / Artwork & Soundtrack / Variety of maps / Achievement system. The game has other non-major issues present other than those top 3, but give it a shot if it interests you.
Yes, but with a (?).
I have a good feeling the game will improve, but it’s a scaling project. The premise is high, but the issues are in your face. They are slowly being solved though, arguably the largest one will be the bot/gold seller hurdle as they are clogging up our servers and stealing our air. So we’ll see how this plays out for the most part, but if it tanks at this point, there may not be a second chance.
As it is right now though, question mark as to uncertainty.
Not until servers are stable at least. Im playing on SA, and while I can play fine, everyone I know has issues trying to login. Not a very welcoming experience for newcomers.
No, not now, anyway.
Every f2p launch ever is riddled with horrible queues, bot swarms and server downtime. Unless you can afford to queue at 6:00 AM in the morning and don’t mind lags, CommanderLoadFail and whatnot, first week after launch is a bad time to start.
Optimization is simply absent. My rig can run Blade&Soul, Black Desert and Overwatch on Ultra, but Dullahan is still 1 FPS and general gameplay is ~15 FPS unless you’re alone in a zone. F2P launch = player crowds = painful stuttering all over the place.
Gameplay is out of whack with too few viable grind spots, no quests past 230 and unrewarding, 99% talt dungeon drops. Not to mention there’s a dungeon limit, so there’s literally nothing to do.
Crafting/Trade system is a crippled mess of band-aid “anti-bot” measures and restrictions. It discourages party play, for [insert deity of choice here]'s sake!
Balance is horrid. Plain and simple. Aside from a few cookie-cutters, most classes need a revamp, or just a ton on re-balancing.
Verdict: Stay well away for at least half a year.
If the game is not dead by then, maybe it will become playable.
As it stands now, it has potential, but it’s nowhere near completion. It’s an early alpha you don’t want to invest too much time in.
Lol if u dun mind spamming space-bar for 1 hour to enter dungeon… Be my guest to try the game…
Yes

Telsiai, Silute and Fedimian are clogged up if I’m not wrong.
I say yes to Klaipeda or Orsha.
Right now? No way.
After they fix the servers, of course.
The fps drops, bots and current market, if you really like the game, it’s not a so big issue, but the servers are really bad right now, and that makes everything else unplayable
Haha, I totally agree with this statement. I haven’t done dungeon for 3 days. Level 130 dungeon is overloaded most of the time. Either you wait for hours or just give it up.
Another issue of dungeon now is that it takes ages to get into party by random queue, especially high level instance dungeon.
Not until loli content
I had a group of friends play FFXIV 1.0 with me. In our group of 15 players, all but myself and one friend quit. Not surprising for anyone that experienced their 1.0 release. Even now that we’re on to FFXIV Heavensward, only one of those players came back to try the new game.
I think that there are so many new and interesting games available that developers really only get one opportunity to impress a player. If you waste that opportunity, you are unlikely to get that chance again.
So to answer the question… If a friend asks me what I’m playing, then I will tell them. Otherwise, no, I’m not going to recommend Tree of Savior until I feel that it will be something that they will enjoy.
It’s a lot easier for us diehard fans to overlook the problems and find the fun somewhere in there. We’re a minority among the players though…
No.
The game is boring as hell at the moment.
