My old Corsair build was like Swordsman > Swordsman > Barbarian > Barbarian > Corsair > Corsair… After Barbarian nerf I’m considering to leave one barbarian rank behind for Cata… I would take Cata for just Trot skill. Downside is that …I would lose more of savagery duration + critical chance of Aggressor which they have been nerfed currently… Maybe level 5 is not too bigg…lose??

While [Aggressor] is being activated, a character’s Critical Rate will be added in proportion to the amount of Physical ATK rate. The additional amount will increase by 35% per Attribute level.
Also note that Max attribute level = 5, so it was +175% crit damage
After the nerf post-iCBT, that 35% is now 5%, according to this:

So at Max attribute level 5, that means +25% crit damage. This is likely only achievable at circle 3 Barbarian.
Edit: Seems like you can get level 5 attribute at circle 1.

Not worth it, that extra barbarian rank will do a lot more for you than trot/mount. That duration per level on those buffs is a lot.
And attribute lv 5 is achievable by any rank, as long as that rank can learn the base attribute. Circle 1 = lv 5 crit damage conversion attribute on aggressor.

However, despite what he says, Cataphract has been buffed since the current extended kCBT so hopefully they’ll be decent enough to be worth considering. They also fixed Savagery so hopefully it’ll synergize with Cataphract better.
The only buff you can take away from going Cataphract is the movement speed with Trot, which does nothing to boost your damage further down the line. This is why people get Corsair instead for the utility skills or Doppelsoldner for the attack speed buff.
Also many of the skills have charge times, making them unappealing because by the time you finish charging that skill, you can probably auto-attack 2-3 times already. The cooldowns also aren’t great…
Woah did they really fix savagery? Can I have source? After Cata Trot my plans was to improve Corsair for two rank… As Midnightmare said im going to lose a lot of damage if I Improve 1 cata instead of Barbarian 2. So im going to stick with my old build.
