Hi,I want to record my gameplay sometimes and I can’t record my mic with the in-game recorder.Would anyone know a free recorder to recommend to me or any way to record my mic with the game’s recorder?Before I began to play ToS,I used OBS but I have a big quality loss since I need to convert the video to edit it and I couldn’t find any other recorder that I could use at the time so…I thought I should ask for recommendations to get a good one.

Voice meeter is your friend if you have skype or any other application that has audio.
I use obs since I can change the file settings to fit my needs when it comes to editing on adobe or DaVinci

I’ve only used ShadowPlay and Xsplit more than the others and both works fine.
Poor’s man solution:
Go to windows audio settings, in particular the recording devices and set “listen to this device” you’ll hear yourself, and the f12 recording function will record the audio aswell.
Is it the best? nah, is it a joke? yup, will it work? oh yeah.

Only way to get around this is taking the source directly without it being compressed by encoding. OBS will make local recordings where you can turn the quality up for but might bog down your PC. There’s also a reason why video codecs compress files too because the size will be in gigabytes if you don’t.
Sites like Youtube will only allow certain file types and sizes. So unless you are going to hoard terabytes of video nobody can see it is pointless.
xsplit is the apple of recording programs. you pay for a service thats supposed to be free, and slapped with a shiny HUD to make you feel special
vouching for others here, OBS is always the best choice. there is nothing it cant do.
