Too expensive for me. Heh. However you said you could provide your own Aukuras 5 scrolls (?). You know why I love Aukuras 15? It reduces your HP recovery time by 15 seconds. That way, you can say that it acts like a heal over time (HOT). It has its own flaws (such as short range) but HOT is such an exotic concept in TOS. The reason why the Cleric community advise against leveling Aukuras is probably because we have Heal.
I would wager it’s more because of lv 1 granting 8 sec of reduction and lvs 2-15 only grant 0.5 sec reduction per lv.
Hmm my current pardoner could still spend rank 7 on a krivis. Lv 5 [daino] is still hot >_< anyway. I’ll look into how much [simony] would cost for lv 5 aukuras.
Just gonna update. A lv 5 scroll would cost 3500 to make, so after taxes a non token user would need to sell for 5000 while a token user would need to sell for 3889 to break even (0 profit).
Another update. A lv 1 scroll costs 700 to make. A lv 1 [aukuras] is -8 sec hp recovery time while a lv 5 [aukuras] is -10 sec hp recovery time. That’s -2 more sec for 5 times the cost.
With squire food and a lv 1 [aukuras] scroll, you are down to 2sec hp recovery time. Pretty cost effective.
Might as well give us:
-Hp regen att.(-2sec hp rec. time/att. lvl, max lvl5, rank2 requirement)
-Life Overflow(automatically recovers 5%hp/sec for 5 seconds when hp goes below 20% of max HP, 15 min. cooldown, rank5 required)
-Tension Relax(increase hp recover by 150% and hp recovertime -30% when resting/sitting, rank3 required)*blatantly taken from Ro’s LK
I dunno, but x3 bigger hp pool only allows survival against big burst damage, current swordies still regen at the same pace as other classes, it’s not like they get x3hp recovery per con invested to keep up with their higher hp pool.
The game developers just need to get creative and internal test better armor and ease of getting them so there isn’t a giant wall just to have appropriate defense.
I like how the original poster points out that hp alone means nothing, if the first mob wacks you in the face for 1/4 of your hp bar while you are using cyclone etc, that hp isn’t coming back when it when it is time to move to the next mob.
They have a chance to address this with 270 armor, I hope they do it in a thoughtful manner.
First off, I’m glad people (some at least) still think about these things.
About armor. There is a video (which I don’t care to look for again … because I’m lazy) of some guy in 220 plate + shield + [aspersion] face tanking trash 280 mobs for 1 damage. Hopefully IMC takes the opportunity to try and “play around” with -hp recovery time on gear. Add in a disclaimer saying “this is a test item, we may decide to change/remove the item later” and poof … ready for testing.
