Does anyone with high specs experience FPS drops to like from 140 to 4?

I simply don’t understand how 2D characters can drop fps so badly, it just does not have any logic. Maybe there’s something wrong with the game engine, i don’t know, but it needs to be fixed, it’s fundamental.

I run at around 150 with just few players… But when world boss appears it drops to 2-5 fps and it gets even worse if a druid appears with his plant thingies… That it just ends up at 0.numbers.
I’m running good internet, a great gaming computer, and I’m in Virginia where the US server is. My ■■■■ still lags to hell and back again at times. The game just needs optimizing.
they are styled as 2D sprites but all characters/monsters in game are actually proper 3D models.
