Because usual “normal” people are not supposed to get best equip, you know? It is not WoW where you can be stupid, weak and with low-equip getting carried in raids. If you want to get best items in the game - be ready to play as best players do.
The difference is, it’s much easier in RO to grief MVP parties. Griefing is part of the MVP competition in RO, and therefore it is much more difficult for a handful of people to monopolize an MVP.
In other words, it is much more difficult for a small number of people to monopolize an MVP, because others can easily block their efforts via griefing methods. (Pneuma/safety wall on MVP, buffing MVP, ice walling, mob dropping, etc)
No wonder you get boss cubes everytime, you can kill them with just your retarded spellings.
And efforts? ayyy lmao. I hunt my items everyday killing the same mob to get that 0.01% drop. This boss loot system is clearly stupid and retarded just like you and how your party camps it.
Last i checked, best equips on the game are from Earth Tower and not able to be traded, sooo egotistic princess. Anybody that puts a party together and kills the boss, eventually will get “Best” gear on the game.

ToS world boss, does nothing but sit there take it to the behind. Player LoL aoe lag, smash face on keyboard 6 DPS get loot according to you.
RO world MVPs, yeah buddy try that BS you do in ToS see if s.hit dies w.o a well structured party. One very deserving group gets loot. Even with the tricks and bugs people died many times before getting kill.
You really are comparing the candy World bosses with nothing but an increased HP pool to the RO MVP. You sir are a JOKE!!
The current system is fair. The game is a casual fest as it is already, I am against accommodating casuals in detriment of hardcore players, who actually put brains and effort into playing the game.
If they can consistently get top DPS on World Bosses, good for them. Somebody needs to step up and compete with them. Instead of just crying in forums and begging for more casualization.

Yeah i like, no i love(ed) the RO-MVP System, fair respawn times, randomized, randomized spawnpoints, competition at its best.
Sadly things changed, players dropped, guilds formed allys, and the biggest Guilds could monopolize a 12hour respawn MVP and controll prices of some of the best armors ingame.
Time passed, and more things changed, and if u want competetive MVP there is only 1, if ur lucky enough 2 Classes, that can MvP anymore. Solo, mvp dies so fast, group mvping is over. Only good point, monopolize stopped, you dont need a guild/ally anymore, anyone can hunt these, and flooding the market with bloody branches, and various Bossnia partys, killed the Competition at all.
In ToS, such a system so far i see it till now (im not max level and cant really say it for sure), Bosses arent killable Solo, they are designed, to take forever solo/in small groups.
So i think such bosses more fit like WoW World Bosses.
And i think, they should do it like that, Anyone has a CHANCE to get loot , here, a cube. Put it 10% or so. (random number is random)
Again, i would love to have a competition system, like RO once had, but it doesnt workout here. Its more like, 1-2 groups have easy loot, and all others just are theyre free helpers in killing him faster.
Its just an idea, which seems fair, still im open to any other good idea fair for everyone, which doesnt result in abuse of some maxlevel guilds claimin any lower boss for monopol or even just for troll.
Even, make all Bosses spawn on any channel at the same time, would be a little start, one grp cant camp all channels.

You will realize it eventually, i do agree bosses here do feel like wow world bosses. Still the biggest issue is see is that they are way to easy to kill. If you actually manage to get one of the desired world bosses you notice the boss wont even use skill, is just sits there like if it is bugged or lagging.
The only problem with world bosses in XI was the Japanese players who hacked to get bosses. I STILL had fun camping Leaping Lizzie with my friends.

If your party has top 1~4 and another party top 5.
Two partys a 5 man get a cube.
Are there 5 partys and in each party one of the top dpslers are based.
Everyone of these 5 partys get a cube… or that random op 280 level char who comes into the fight, while you kill a 160 worldboss steals one cube (or 5 chances for a party).
Atm the system is greatly butchered to DPS done.
AND DPS DONE IN THE TIME YOU DIDNT DIE.
If top 1 dies… his value resets.
So anyone that dies once is useless for drops.
