Wizard to rank 2 quest too far advanced

So I started with a wizard -> pyromancer The quest was in town and relatively easy. Being disapointed with the pyro i decided to try to roll another wizard and go wizard -> wizard. Imagine my surprise when I found out that the class quest was in the mines. At this point (I had done my best to get all the quests) I wasn’t even finished with the East Woods yet.

Being stuck at class level 15 really hurt for the next two maps, as I was unable to complete my class advancement until I was able to enter the mines, some 6 levels later (probably in the range of 3-4 class levels). Those are entirely lost, the quest probably needs to be moved to klap, or moved to a lower level location. Not to mention the difference in the quests. The quest for the pyro, you only need to kill 2 mobs, and the quest for wizard l2 was for 15 mobs. Seems imbalanced to me.

That is it for me from the class standpoint.

skip the sidequests, go right into the mine, do your stuff, become wizard 2, go back to the woods and finish your sidequests there, profit

and obviously dont use any exp cards as long as you are job 15

This is probably why you don’t use all your EXP cards the moment you get them.

this will NEVER be fixed… you can just ignore all mob without doing quest, run to floor 2 and kill the mob for advancement… so why should they bother?..

I don’t really see any problem in running to mine and completing the quest. I did it myself, and Wizard C3 is my first character.

Welcome to a bigger hellhole than pyro.

The mines are locked behind story quests. That’s the issue.

Considering the level of enemies in the mine being on par with the level you would be around when hitting wiz c2, it makes plenty of sense. My main is a wiz 3 ele 1 sorc 1 and I found the quests to all be completely fair. If you aren’t at the zone yet, simply stop doing things until you get to where you need, then go back to finish. Or, cut your loss on the exp and continue with the sidequests and all until you get to the job advancement quest. Its not hurting anythign having it in the mines.

i’d say Pyro’s C1 quest is far too easy and needs rework.
Most 1st advancement quests require you to go into mines (Priest is one of exceptions - he has to kill vubbes in miner’s village).

Also you should take into account that current exp rates are 3x, so normally you would get into mines way before advancement.

Its about 50/50, half of them are pretty easy.

Cryo and Pyro are quite easy.

Linker isn’t hard enough when you get to it.

Elementalist isn’t that hard either.

Just some classes like Krivis, Wizard C2 and some others require you to go into the mine, which is not a problem at all if you didn’t use all your XP cards when you got them but kept them until after you advance.

If you did not use any XP cards, then by the time you reach the mine, you are exactly around Job level 15 and ready to advance.

Also for archer, swordsman, you need to go to the mines. Dont immediately use your exp cards and just do the quest until you get to the mines

Just go to mines and do the quest. The very first quest in miners village is to blow up the barrels and get access 0.o

Only if you do the story. If you skip the miner’s village story, there will be no barricade into the mines. The barricade will return when you catch up to the story after you advance. Just skip the story quest in East Siaulai Woods. Overkill some hanamings for quick exp early on and you can reach class 15 before entering Klaipeda.

You should see quarrel shooter c1 test. You have to get into the mine, and when you get to the area, sudden boss battle. Lol. So honestly, everything else is easy.
