Nope, warlock skills is too strong and can combine well with Kino skills too.
I think you can easily level up without linker. As for party dungeons, let others be support mages and concentrate on dealing damage instead.
What I want to say, there is no reason to become Jack of All Trades in this Game.

I agree with @avykos by the time you are a warlock, you would have enough aoe and your utility will come in another form anyway.

Any new thoughts on Necro?
I’m considering a couple of Necro builds, inclduing:
Wiz c1 -> Cryo c1 -> Psycho c3 -> Necro C2
Wiz c1 -> Cryo c1 -> Psycho c3 -> Necro C1 -> Warlock C1 / Rune Caster
Wiz c3 -> Psycho c3 -> Necro c1
Would love to find a viable build for both PvE and PvP. One specific question I have is whether the Decay buff for missile attacks provides sufficient utility to justify going Necro over Warlock.
I haven’t dived deep into the Necro class, but they say anything with summons is a good partner for Psychokino 3
I have exactly build now, and I will with linker.
Linker + Psy + Cryo have a lot of utilitys in pvp/pve.
If you don’t like Linker, I suggest you cry c3.
Runecaster is useless without wiz c3 (all skills have 8s cast).
Warlock is okay. Necro c2 is okay. Sorc c2… is okay too.
Runecaster is useless without c3 if you are planning to solo all the way.
Without c3 of wizard or c3 of cryomancer? Or both?
Usually Rune casters go with either c3 wizard, c3 cryo, or at least 1 cryo and kino.
Am taking up rune caster to buff parties and have nukes (outside my channeled Kino 3 spells).
