Judging by kToS videos, link + magic missile can still 1 shot mobs at 300+.
Rune caster would provide some additional support skills to add to linker for grinding parties.
Rune of Destruction + Quick Cast will provide huge burst damage for PvP, seems like it would out damage Meteor.
