And again, everybody prefered the iCBT2 spawn rate…cause it was just better. Come on, play your game the way it is right now… leveling on mobs isnt fun…quests that want you to kill stuff…no fun… lots of problems that all boil down to the bad spawn rate.

I agree. Ive been trying to get all the collections and I have to say. Holy crap is it way too low.
I myself can run through guards barracks(think thats what ita called) in less than a minute front to back only able to kill a few things because;
- There are only 2 channels.
- The monsters I need to spawn only spawn 15 at a time.
- I generally see about 10 other people per channel. About 1/4-1/3 of them are obvious bots. (Jumping around on the screen basically teleporting to monsters. Attacking the corner of the room ajd hitting thigs half a screen away etc.)
- Even if I was literally the only one there I would still have to wait for respawns due to the fact I can kill that crap all before the first group I killed will respawn.
And finally; 5. Does the krausas mace even drop from what the website says it does?! Three fricken days about 2-3 hours worth of grinding EACH DAY… and nothing. Rng hates me.
The thing that doesn’t bother me is the low spawnrate, it’s the way the monsters spawn. There are fixed spawnlocations and monsters seem to spawn in waves after a certain time which can cause you to get instagibbed by 3 melee monsters spawning on top of you.
Also monsters never move too far away from their original spawn position which is kinda annoying and lame. At least they don’t reset and become immune like in other MMOs, but I really prefered ROs whole spawnsystem.
Whenever anyone would kill a monster on a map that monster would respawn somewhere on the map, there was always a fixed amount of monsters at any time. This could also lead to very tense scenarios were you are fighting a horde of monsters with things respawning in your back, but that made for very exciting battles sometimes.

Even in ICBt2, Post 160 was stupid.
Actually I only play because of the class and combat system.
99% of quests are boring - most are kill and collect but monsters are extinct.
The grind is real but monsters are extinct.
Dungeons are boring and monsters there give next to nothing, only boss.
Missions are even more boring.
It is like a 200-300h suffer duration until 280 and some PVP. Not cool.
If every map was like an instanced version of Mage Tower or Demon Prison the game would be ultra awesome…

There should be low and high density zones/maps… I think.
The rate of spawns in iCBT were for testing purposes only it, it would be stupid to have spawn rates like that in the live game.
I don’t know why the developer didn’t program all maps to have pre-ICBT2 tenet garden / demon prison 2 kind of spawn rates. It’s like they INTENTIONALLY want people NOT to grind and to suffer. Wtf?
You should be specific about the parts of the game you want more spawns. There are some zones where the spawn rate is crazy.
That’s your problem right there… Why do you think Demon Prison District 2 is a good place to farm? You get a fourth of the XP of a roaming 2nd Demon Prison party… 5th if the party is good.
The people that sit around bonfires in that zone… and think they’re grinding effectively are stupid.
Did someone write a guide or show the method on twitch? Or something? Is that why people do that dipshit afk grind?
Dam dude chill, It’s not just that. Even while questing just waiting a 1-2 minutes for 4-5 quest mobs to spawn when you need to kill 12 or so is just ■■■■■■■stupid. Then add the other people doing the same thing on ALL the other channels and it’ll be 10x worse on f2p.
imc has shown that they can move lightening fast on an Issue like dlc sales abuse.How about moving fast on this issue too? It affects just as many people if not more!
in fact - all lv 170+ dungeon maps need more density + higher spawnrate + giving an end to anchored mobs - let the mobs be free! so we can collect them better + ensure a new party grinding experience (aka the old ragnarok fashion - get a spot on map and hang out there waiting for tanks to bring the juice)
most important include the rule of none ks on said maps! aka nobody is allowed to focus your collected mobs - a high density + random spawn + super high spawn rate will ensure a good time and might even feel less grindy to parties - cause the running around to collect anchored mobs is just silly + 2 or more parties can grind effectively depending on the spot and area they “occupy”- in the current state its really annoying to have another party in your channel - resulting in much hate and frustration while grinding for the best exp
