Lets allow all trade/market restrictions, and make it easier for RMTs to sell silver. That way, more RMT companies will come and ‘invest’ in this game. Best argument.

Basically IMC has to deal with:
- Botters, or general silver farmers, who offload all their earnings to other accounts
- Spammers, even if no trades happen through these accounts, they still disrupt the game
- Some way to discern between legitimate actions and fraudulent ones
So far nothing we’ve seen has actually dealt with the problem, as there are still bots and spam clearly visible in the game. Is this better or worse thanks to the measures they’ve taken? Or no change at all? It’s hard to say.
But what it seems like to me is that all they’ve done is give themselves a buffer at a great expense to regular players.
Listed items don’t appear on the market for 30-120min, supposedly so that gold sellers can’t react immediately. But what does that actually help? So what if it’s an hour late if nothing happens in that time frame? Now there’s a lag time between when the player spends their money and when they receive their silver. It still happens, just up to 50 hours late, and with a 30% markup.
Oh well, it’s slightly more expensive and mildly inconvenient, I guess I won’t spend $20 on however much silver that would get me after all. Thanks IMC!

In future, there will more restrictions added into the game, now still in the period of early access and when its come to F2P <---- Solution u can guess what
If token is to sold for $15-30 buck a month, mean IMC is prove that its not F2P which convert into B2P…
IMC always mention RMT is ruining the game economy, but they still can trade using token and what make them think that the issue can solve?

Still there is only 1 way to stop gold-seller for sure, and the way is to stop all kind of trade in game, a thing that would never happen
IMC announced that FOR NOW they won’t change this while trying to reach gold-sellers by uncommon prices in newbie itens

Also even if IMC continue this when F2P comes the lose will be theirs, cause lots of people will stop, the community will make this game fall apart, but this is only the second week of 4 and that’s not the only issue they have to solve…

I’m not defending IMC i don’t think this system will go well, but still too early to condemn IMC saying that they only desire for money, and you know what? Everyone wants money, even if its only to feed yourself
Edit: The project started years ago, a monnth of tokens wont save them ffrom the money loss

Well now they have to, since they need to farm at least until lvl 40 to start spaming.
I don’t see how this can be stopped, unless you know how to stop a criminal organization that steal credit cards, and even so, I don’t think it’s a job for a Publisher to do.
This guys have to wait 48 hours to receive their silver, this is making their life miserable and those are the ppl complain every single day that they want their silver now.
They are the source of the problem and the ones that IMC is trying to strangle, the problem is how do you know who is helping RMT and who is not. They are refining that, and the 48h delay is probable being use to develop some kind of tracking or strategy to cancel those trades before 48h, making the RMT buyer pay real money to gold sellers but doesn’t get the silver, making not worth for them.

OP IS HELPING RMT SELLERS WITH THIS KIND OF PROPAGANDA, IMC ARE PROBABLE USING THE 48H DELAY TO STUDY HOW RMT ARE ACTING AND WHO ARE HELPING THEM. K, fix that. Don’t allow players to list random items for 100k. They are working on this currently, as mentioned in their RMT announcement.

RMT is a lot less of an issue than many people around here is making it out to be. It’s not good, but it’s not bad enough that it will ruin a game like TOS. It’s unfortunate that IMC has to deal with people making money off their game, but RMT barely affects the rest of the player population. There’s no reason that the players have to suffer for it.
Anyone can go buy a hundred tokens with cash, liquidate them for Silver on the market and buy everything he wants anyways. It doesn’t matter if they bought the Silver from a gold farmer or if they acquired it selling tokens on the market. Whales exist both legitimately and illegitimately here.
Suck it up IMC.

Well kid you can say that to anything good about life, Police shouldn’t be arresting criminals because they can’t get crime to 0, Fireman shouldn’t be working because there will always be fire, Medic shouldn’t even be trying because everyone still dies anyway.
They are doing something, if isn’t enough for you why the hell you don’t just leave? I mean seriously… why even bother to come here bitching about this, if nothing but 0 problems isn’t enough, go home. There will always be problems, aways bugs, aways RMT in MMO… the best they can do is making stay in a aceptable rate.
The game still young, and I’m sure they are gathering data as we speak to stop the silver that ppl buy from RMT seller to get to them. If ppl start paying but the silver isn’t coming, I bet they will stop buying.

The point is not on 9m vs 100m. The gold seller will still earn as much, except that now for the same amount of cash they only have to provide 9m instead of 100m, thanks to IMC’s policy.

I mean… I’ve had friends use the sell a cheap item at an expensive price to send them some silver to help with funds… hopefully that doesn’t come back to bite me…

They can easily put a 5 TP token to allow trading for a week or for x days. Since everyone have 5 TP, will be in a way “free” to trade. But they won’t be adding this until the RMT still a huge problem.
Probable not, RMT must have some kind of patterns on their trades and a donation of 50~200K isn’t going to make you a gold seller, unless you donate 900K, if so… can you add me as your friend

Much of the playerbase have not been able to farm upwards of 500k yet. Which means the full capacity to trade tokens instead of RMT has not fully been seen yet.
For the first few days I have seen that RMTer’s were consistently more expensive than buying a token and selling it on market for 500k. Granted that at this point token sales will likely be slow, owing to no 1:1 trade & really high exp rates already.
We will have to see how this progresses to make a conclusion if Token indeed is helping or not helping with RMT.
