I mean it may seem useless , but what made me really get into RO was because of the feeling of growth, being a novice made me so invested that when I was about to choose my class there were questions and answers and the npc would recommend a class for you and all felt like really connected to the character once i was able to job change and felt like an awesome achievement, sometimes it’s those small things that makes you invested into something, and having a novice class wouldnt be bad as a tutorial 
You must know immediate, like an freshman entering university you must decide your whole life path. No going back. (seriously I wish they’d let me reset my class selection in case I messed up or there are changes.
they should at least let the founder’s pack buyers do that
They should at least allow us to create new char… wait, you actually can create new character and put use of what you’ve learned from your previous build! The first character isn’t the end of it all once you’ve maxed it! 
Novice… Best class ever! Especially when you go for Super Novice and Extended Super Novice. Resetting death count with Linker alt to regain that +10 to all stats bonus. I feel nostalgic.
