Saddly, here is a problem they NEED to solve. since the last update my WIRED controller has been randomly “freezing” in certain action, like attacking or walking, the only way to solve is to unplug the controller and then plug in again but doing that CRASHES the game completely.

For you, while they solve it i’d suggest doing something with the controller to avoid it turning off because the game does crash whenever you plug in or out a controller/joypad while playing.

okay last night after the update, while playing. my xbox 360 controller just shuts off and at the same time the game crashes. just now, i played again and the same thing happened. battery is new so that’s not a problem.

any ideas?

Wireless XBox 360 controllers go to sleep after a while. Disconnecting the controller is what causes the crash, so letting your controller enter sleep will trigger this. No idea if there’s a way to prevent it.

I’ve also had this crash problem when my batteries run dry. Considering the hours I’m putting into the game, this occurs a fair bit.
