As a new player, I’d be for this solution if I weren’t knowledgeable of those who spent legitimate hours upon hours getting to ~350 and farming items/collections. It’s kind of unfair to punish the community as a whole for the players that have put fair work into their characters just because some rude people thought it wise to hack and steal silver/items and wreck the economy.

I 100% agree with you @UmisokaCeeza. I am also new and missed part.1 of the current event and only been here a week of pt.2. This is why I am all for 1 free class reset for your characters. If the older players want to use cool if not they should be able to sell or trade. Newer players should not have the option.
I got a free reset. See this game is nice no death needed 
They still have no way to detect hook64 and there are still exploits that are not fixed, they haven’t even acknowledged or addressed them, such as infinite dungeon entries.
They may have patched the infinite silver exploit but until they find a way to rid us of the cancer that is hook64 there will always be exploiters and cheaters and new hacks will be soon to follow.
If they wipe or open a new server without fixing the core problem which is hook64, the server won’t take long to end up in the same sorry state as what we have now.
need auto ban all wipe idea.
IMC reaction was proportional IMO and they took the hard way and manually banned involved accounts.
They could simply do a server roll back, what Id do myself.
That shows some respect to players. What they need now is some event to promote the game.
Please stop asking for wipes.
The server is not going to be wiped after 2.5 years of normal progress for most people. Anyone asking for such a thing is doing so out of malice.

Yes, clearly wiping everyones progress and effort people, even innocent ones, put in their characters over the many months they’ve been playing is the best thing to do to keep players and bring back players. Those innocent players will be so happy that their accounts got wiped that they can’t help but continue playing.
Brilliant. With that attitude towards customers and solving problems, you should try to get into management or marketing.
I heard EA is hiring, you’d fit right in.
