I just have a quick question though newbie but still worthy to ask: In killing monsters in order to receive a reward from WoV, do i need to kill the same monster in a number of times before I can receive an exp card for it? Thank you. I’m 180 already but yet i don’t give emphasis on the mechanics on how the exp card reward system works on this (except on the map exploration though)
press F4 in game, navigate to “monsters” tab. Monster info contains amount of kills required for “achievement”, monsters with completed kill counts are highlighted with golden frame.
Yes. Your adventure journal has a counter for each enemy, usually x/y.
You need to have x = y in order to properly share your story.
So if you looked up Vubbe Archer in your adventure log and saw a count of 292/390 (dummy numbers), you would have to kill 98 more Vubbe Archers to share the tales of your battle with the NPC.
Yeah, you can check the count for it in the monster log of the adventure journal. Most monsters have different counts, with normal spawning mobs ranging at like an average of 150 kills per.
It’s really clunky and updates laggily but doing the kill counts are worth it when you get to level 9/10 cards. Nets you some grind exp from the maps too, even though it’s sort of painful to do HAHA
Here’s an addon if you’re interested, it more or less relays the count information to the bottom right of your UI. super useful and non-intrusive, made getting the cards a lot more bearable for me.
Thanks for all the replies guys. Really helpful. I already ran out of quests (My next quest is in Roxona Market lol) so I’m trying to squeeze out all exp card rewards that i can get haha.

Actually if player completes ALL monster and map achievements alternating Klaipeda and Orsha routes - you wont need those exp cards at all until alot later in the game. Plus you get most of your collections completed.
Speaking of which, why some monsters dont have a number in their counter?
its possible to get card xp from them?
