Will the respawn rate of mobs ever be changed back to how it was in the CBT?

I thought you guys nerfed the respawn rates because of all the problems in the 1st weeks of the early access, but it’s already 3+ months that game has been released and we still with these ridiculous rates, will it ever be back to how it used to be?

You guys can see a comparison of the rates in the CBT and how it is now, the video is not mine, credits to BadWolf HS:

Sure it was a lot better than it’s now.

I hope they do change it back . The game has so much potential to be more fun with endless amount of mobs compared to the boring 5 minute respawn rate we have now

Either its a form of restriction to impede bots or a choice they made due to optimization concerns. We can’t say for sure since they’ve remained silent about it. It sucks so much for genuine players.

Please sort out whatever and change it back. #makemobsgreatagain

When we get kToS data merge we should (? Impossible to know with IMC) get kToS respawn rate, which is 40 seconds compared to our current 2 minutes.

This one change would bring so many players back… Nearly everyone i speak to says the same thing about why they quit.

  • Respawn rates are way to slow (need to be 10x+ faster and more monsters in general)
  • Game performs like garbage for the low level of graphics.
  • Terrible game restrictions to stop bots and RMT that hurt the players the most and dont even slow down the bots or RMT.

Yeah, but apparently they had to reduce the spawns so the game runs properly with a large amount of players.

And you already lag like crazy in towns without shops. With shops you’d probably won’t even get 5 FPS anymore.

Sidenote, it was bad in the CBT already. :sweat:
It just got even worse.

TBH I had to grind evac lately. This ■■■■ is so boring. All this searching for monsters to have something to hit or be able to dump your spells in. It’s so sad.
If we were at least able to pull monsters around but those critters only follow for like 1 display range and close to death run for at least 2.
Who the hell made this… Jesus christ.

This is actually one of the main reasons I’m barely playing right now, it’s just not fun to wait for the monsters to respawn -_-
Most of my friends already quit because of this… Doesn’t IMC understand that it’s boring to wait?
I just don’t get it… So much feedback about it but yet nothing happens.
Not even a response!

Honestly increasing spawn rates by 10x or making them respawn instantly after killed ON GRINDING MAPS would fix a large portion of the social aspect to, because party’s would be able to static grind in one spot together and have time to talk and hang out while leveling.

No it won’t because IMC is sh!t. I’ve made a ton of these crap threads as well. They don’t reply to anyone if you mention spawn rate. Enjoy ;^)

Right now some maps don’t have enough spawn for ONE person, let alone two or more people (or one person + one bot).

No wonder why this is such an anti-social game. What incentive is there to party up with others when even one person can pretty much clear an entire area easily and then have to sit down and wait for respawn?

This is why there are so few grind spots. Is this IMC’s idea to keep players in the game longer by slowing down progression? As further you are in you notice maps with less channels, and the more cancerous it feels, like denom prison and bee farm map. In the early levels you do encounter afk’ers using companion to waste electricity. But thats only for a short time.

agreed the spawn rates atm really sux idk how cbt2 spawn rates was but watching that video with that kind of spawn rate farming silver for skills probably wont be a problem but atm… tos spawn rates really SUX

Have they ever actually stated that? Because it just sounds wrong, based on the fact that the game ran fine with tons of people farming Demon Prison in CBT2 with faster respawn rate, and runs fine in KR with 40 second respawn rate.

Well they stated that they reduced the channels to improve the performance and overall stability. I also think they said at some point to have implemented the respawns times for optimization, but that’s just hearsay.
