Will the amount of gem slots be changed from current equipment ingame after the update?

i really like the 1-hand swords from hunting grounds with 4 gem slots, with how rare 4 slots are i havnt actually gotten one yet, however i consider this not overpowered as even with 4 slots the prac purple weapons are still considered slightly stronger…

my question is will all current hunting grounds equipment have their maximum gem slots changed to what the update notice claims or will they stay the same and only new items dropped will have these values?

even though the prac weapons are stronger id still want one just for collection purposes, and who knows maybe having 4 monster gems equipped would have a slight advantage in some situations further on

I hate this change just get purpel 4 socket sword for my hacka and now this T.T

i just want to know if the 4 slot 1-hand weapons that are already in the game will be changed X.X

edit: can anyone confirm the max amount of slots theyve seen for a shield?

Imo, current gears won’t be changed when new pve content comes. Since farming hg gears will be even easier, just farm it again.

Currently, max slot for shield is 2

the hg gears are getting changed, read the patch notes. im asking if these changes would be applied to the ones currently ingame

they already said the “stat” changes would apply to current items but not if the gem slots would

I have the same question. On dev’s screenshots we see a 1H Sword with only 3 slots. Perharps 4 slot old weapons will be a kind of bootlegs o.ó

IMC can done like Bless shard system long ago

put all gem to market and make weapon become full open slots

nothing have to talking about now, it just road map

On the other hand, the maximum number of gem sockets in equipment, a feature which currently sets the limit to the performance of the item without contributing much to its value, will be changed to a fixed number. Here, we’re increasing the number of sockets in two-handed weapons, setting the random maximum number even higher than that of one-handed weapons.

I don’t knew what IMC talking about because IMC just said “Fixed” and “Random” at the same type of items.

I’m thinking about something like “Old weapon” that have gem in it and because the gem socket system cost potential (not like Tran System) and what happen if update come. Are they just left there? or buff the socket to “Fixed” value?

Or it just “New” type of items, Not HG nor Dungeon.

As far as I understood the text, the developers will change the random number of slots to a fixed number of slots.
This in turn will affect all current ingame items from HG as it means nothing else than setting the maximum number of slots as standard slots, and these standard slots affect all items from HG.

So in general the result will be that all HG onehand weapons will most likely have 3 slots while all twohand weapons have 5 slots by default.
Armor pieces will also be affected as all current 1 slotted HG armory will have at least 2 slots in the future (time to buy some cheap 1 slot item now and be rewarded at next cap with a free slot :slight_smile: ).

It’ll be bad, because I have a Pevordimas Sword with 4 gems. Maybe they’ll remove the fourth gem and return to us by Market’s Retrieve.

well, I doubt that onehanded swords will lose their 4th slot, I just said 3 slots because most onehanded weapons have 2 slots atm and I don’t have any sword user so I forgot that swords are the execption with 2-4 slots as I wrote my comment…

Farm it again, trancend it again and do it for all chars in the account. Share transcended gear through team storage is a most desirable feature yet…

I mean the current gears (already obtained and indentified) will be the same. only the new gears which are obtained after the new PvE content will have the new gem slot number.

What about lolopanther stats? The current ones will be changed as well?

iirc there is no change in ET gears stat. They just make it 3 runs per week and shorter time to get gears. If there are any changes in ET gears stat in the future, all gears (obtained after the change or before the change) will have the new stat because ET gears have fixed stat, not random like HG gears since they do not require to be identified.

I’m pretty sure there is no change for Lolopanther and solmiki gears in the future LoL they just allow you to exchange type, like from lolo plate to lolo leather.

Yeah, The stats change is only in my thoughts because the lolo bonus set isn’t worth for many classes since HG’s sets are quite better in slot.

Lolopanther is still better than 315 rare HG armor, be it in defence rating (post armor update), bonus stats or item awakening. Of course you’d rather not try to to farm the full set because it’s Rank 7 gear (that means it’s outdated for 2 ranks at Rank 9), but getting 2-3 pieces (medal,top and bottom) is still worth the hassle if you can manage to beat the Lolopanther stages.

With the upcoming cost-effectiveness increase of farming Lolopanther items, a lot of people will opt for Lolopanther on their subchars rather than HG armor I believe; Rather, it’s more likely that people will skip Solmiki and advance from HG armor -> Lolopanther armor -> 350 unique items
