Will I be considered as a "Pelt" with pelt 1 pure con?

I’m getting near the Grind party part of leveling, I have pelt 1 and pure con
My build is Sword3>Pelt1>Cross3 will I be considered a Pelt or are “Pelts” Pelt 3?

I have Jolly Roger 15, Iron hook15, and max restrain
My build is mostly for CC with Hook, Restrain+DWA for PvP/GvG (and maybe PvE) and JR15 for more pillage chance which mean I have absolutely no DPS

I will switch to shield when grinding

Doesn’t really matter ur stats or ranks.

Get peltasta 1 and you will be fine. You can even go full int and that’s OK. Everybody loves a peltasta. And peltasta C1 brings most of the class utility.

Thanks! I thought that wouldnt be the case when I swash in Siauliai mission, the boss doesnt even notice me and chases the DPS, even if I have max provoke and hit him for so many times, so i thought Pelt 3 swash 15 provoke amount will be needed

i think if they do huge amount of damage they will change target

i dont know if provoke or swash has a set amount of damage needed before it goes off and change target.

like for every auto attack with max provoke it needs about 10k damage to change target or swash needs about 30k damage

If you’re full con, you’re never gonna force a boss to notice you because the DPS will so much more damage than you. Provoke attribute is % so if you’re already doing alil bit of damage, it won’t make much difference. I believe that’s how the attribute works.

Asideally from that, long as you can lure mobs, then you’re a pelt.:slight_smile:

Do tankers have any use vs bosses? I can still make my build high con low str I can put about 80 points but will the boss notice me. Does full con vs high con low str have any difference in PvP/GvG in terms of survivavility?

Oh wait, 80 str only adds a few damage, I guess senpai wont notice me no matter what I do so I will just give up on bossing

Not really, pelts don’t do much in boss fights, even less in world.bosses when it’s not so much about damage mitigation as trying to kill as fast as possible. Most bosses are dumb anyway.

its okay no1 cares about what damage a swordman does, they are only needed for swash
