Why two currencies for TP?

(Please disregard the OP, please check the edited version below with the fixed bolded part)

[details=Summary]So I was about to buy some TP when I’ve noticed there is two types avaible.

One for NA and one for SA, giving my understanding of the currency convertion, it’s rather obvious the prices of NA are triple the prices of SA. This is kinda bothers me and I find a rather stupid way of selling the currency being completly blunt here…

Look, I’am aware that brazillians are infamous around here, specialy considering a portion of the playerbase used to play Ragnarok Online, wich afaik was ground zero for the memes and all the bullcrap you can find about BRs in the internet.

But this two pricing is kinda of a bullshit thing to me, it’s deliberatly making a division of the brazilian playerbase by economicly incentivising those players to join SA servers (one can also argue exploiting the situation). I can even understand at some degree this sort of action but it’s quite unfair for a brazilian player who is in NA server wich could be buying at 18,00 bucks but instead has to buy for 31,00 bucks…

I honestly don’t want to start/revive a drama over this but at the very least I’d like a clarification about this, then peraphs I’ll consider keep playing this game or not.[/details]

EDITED VERSION

NOTE: I Apologize for the horrendous missunderstanding at first, gave a completly wrong idea without fully relalizing what I was writing. I’m keeping the OP for the sake of Integrity and honesty.

So I was about to buy some TP when I’ve noticed there is two types avaible.

Giving I came back after a long time away and since I’m brazilian and kept my character in a North american server the price is way higher compared to those who play in the SA server. This is kinda bothers me and I find a rather stupid way of selling the currency being completly blunt here…

do you want all SA players to pay a higher price for TP if IMC standardised and went for USD to TP?
This incentivises SA players to stay in Silute.

I play on telsiai and the currency used is in SGD. If i chose to play silute, i would get lag but pay less for TP but i choose not to because i want a less laggy game experience which im getting now with 20-30ms. And even some players who should be in fedimian or even ktos play on telsiai and I dont think that is a problem because they arent as ■■■■■■ up as BR players.

This has been in the game for quite a long time now. If you think this currency thing is a big enough issue for you then quit.

I played on jtos and the culture of the people playing is different, so I can understand that you think that an invasion of NA players into silute can ■■■■ ■■■■ up, but you have to ask yourself, does it affect your gameplay experience?

My jtos experiece was that even in level 50 dungeon, no communication was required yet pelts knew how to cc and clerics actually look at player HP granted they may be alt characters of veteran players. When in Rome act like the Romans, play well for good experience, dont be a leech which are much more prevalent in so many servers.

Hey, Who the hell do you think you are to talk about brazilians in such way? Where are you from?

Minimum wage USA: 10 dollars/hour
Minimum wage my country (Chile): 2 dollars/hour

you get five times average pay for the same work (and i probably would work better, you seem quite brainless, steam has regional prices for a lot of games)

The price is selected by steam not the game staff and they are individual for all regions because the payment and TP won’t magically teleport from one server database to the other…

I don’t see a problem with this, it gives options to people with less acquisitive power to get more for their money given the currency conversion.

Do you know that SEA Telsiai and Varena has the same rates than SA Silute for TP, right? So, why only BRs are the problem, dear? Or you conveniently forgot these two servers?

don’t be cheap if you really want avoid your country mates
