Why ToS isn't fun

No no. You get me wrong. Dont be mad dude. I am not saying that you want a reskin or something. Just an example man. I have agreed with your previous point right?

But then RO is a too damn good example to be compared. I dont think a new game can so fast improve to be in place with RO. This game just new and yet they created over level400 content for us. Sure there are many flaws yet to be fixed and to be improved in between. Chill man… =o= I am not arguing. Sorry if I sound offensive to you.

I’m not mad , you just contradicted yourself , so I couldn’t understand what your overall point was. It’s super confusing when you first talk about something as an example then you criticize talking about the same thing as an example, in the next sentence.

You can’t compare Ragnarok Online with Tree of Savior.

RO has VIP, Bounty Boards, Turns-in, BMX3, instances, most of the good stuff from Cash shop, but still easy. and then you have WoE which is why everyone still plays RO.
Tree of Savior has exp cards, mobs/bosses difficulty Easy, as for now, the only “challenges” i’ve seen are instances and world bosses. Not sure who’s the top lvling player at the moment, but i’m almost sure nobody has reached the end game, there’s alot of stuff yet to see.

Judging the entire game when more than half the population is lower than lvl 100 and haven’t even seen most of their class potentials(circles) is irresponsible.

If anything, i would compare ToS with Aura Kingdom, considering the amount of classes, instances and recipes/mats you get from bosses but just that.

There are some core problems on ToS about grinding places vs population density that MUST be addressed, cause i’ll risk saying that some portion of the population is stuck between lvl 60-90 cause of that, Mausoleum and Sanct dungeons are way too populated compared to mob density there.
And an anti-cheat program, cause people macroing (Auto-Z??) and some speed-hacks.

I don’t want to go deep on ToS problems yet.

Increase the aggro AI, the aggro radius so MOBS can be easily gathered.
Increase the density/spawn rate as well. then we’ll have a good grinding experience.

Lots of improvements to be made but not to a point of stressing my self over and being emotional on the forums and shouting “i wanna rage quit tears tears tears”

All BETAs are like this. Though I say you have a point. But the real question is, on all the games that had been released and all of the beta players are calling for addressing the “grinding” issue, what are your preferences of it being addressed. Can you state a reference, maybe other games that resolved the grinding issue. Bec I think every MMORPG always has the “grinding” element.

Chill. you can express yourself without leaving a bad impression/aura off the game.
Maybe you need a little bit of rest. :3 press insert more frequently from now on.

BTW, I love how the mobs explode when they are killed. I feel superior. “DIE ONIONS!!!”

I play games for fun. more fun=more playing time. I don’t care if it’s an illusion of fun or real fun. Fun=fun. If we stress over what is real fun and illusion of fun, fun will not be fun anymore. :slight_smile:

I am a type of player that wants variation and can easily be fed up by a single game. That’s why I have a lot of games ready to be played anytime. I jump from a game to another, then go back when I miss playing it. A casual player on mmorpg unless if you give me an intense pvp mmorpg. Thats going to make the difference.

RO is different. RO is LIFE. And hope ToS would be the same. But I guess still a lot of work to be done.

It’s an issue when players loose interest in game after 6 days. You call it crying , but I easily could of done what others did, just stop giving a damn.
Sure you may perceive it as a whine. However unlike many others I stayed to help more since 1st beta.
Without constructive criticism and stating the obvious truth, how do you want to improve this game. Can you explain that?
IMO being an apologist is actually what impairs the progress.
We can all pretend that this game is all roses and cringe in silence or we can fix this game.

Finally I’m leaving bad impression of the game, because the game is BAD in it’s current state.
You cannot call this game GOOD, because it’s right out broken. I’m talking about the present the “right now” , not about my hopes and dreams.
For the past 2 weeks devs are fighting the market and the IPF issues alone, this game needs at least a year to be “good”.
Isn’t the purpose of beta is to make a game GOOD? Am I right or am I right?

i saw lvl 150+ players online this days playing with friends and helping noobs like me (still lvl 52) :wink:

Grinding is boring? yeah, always is boring but if you want gear or lvl up…do it, you wont have infinite quest, maybe IMC can make dailies quests in a future

Extreme Lag: i don’t have extreme lag, maybe spikes but still playable
Weird decisions: dunno, i couldn’t play in the first beta, so, no comments

Bad Rates: like i said, i’m noob, i’m fine now leveling, i need wait for high lvl maps i think

Always Under Lvl: if you are higher lvl for that area, the game will be easy

No channels and alternative ways to gaining exp: in my limited experience, I believe that channels are generated when another channel fills, so is normal in high level maps there are not many channels or little-traveled maps. And Alternative ways to gaining EXP, i’ll said the same, dailies quest with exp cards rewards

Imbalance: dunno, i’m noob xD

an advice: if you want ragequit 99% of the time, get a break, trust me, it’s the best thing you can do

Well dont forget I said that you have a point.
It’s just that you need to ease off, because you want to rage quit 99% and it is your 5th 140+ character. Am i wrong understanding that. You’re stating a lot of things in extremes, too passionately exaggerated.

That\s why im trying to tell you not to stress over yourself on such and try to rest a lil bit.
As I was saying there is a better way to express yourself. But if you prefer such, then let it be.

Nope non of it is exaggerated , that’s your assumption.

I can tell you what’s going to happen with this game IF it launches.
It’s going to be played at private servers with rates 10x-15x .
Probably illegally too.

Thats the laziest approach IMC made so far. They dont even have death animations, which actually sucks. I bet youre the only one who actually likes it.

Not going to lie, “IF” big IF this game is released and still broken and someone makes a private server i will most likely switch over. Private servers usually have faster development. hence RO 2.0 lol

When I was a noob I had the same opinion. The channels dont work the way you think.
getting up to level 70 is the only bearable part.Your trouble is yet to come.Especially since you seem to be a more casual player. Imagine wasting an entire session just to get 1 lvl.Can you imagine doing that for 500lvls , possibly at even worse rates in the future.

The coming lvl86 wall you’re going to feel. It is the first noticeable one.
