Just for those of you who don’t know, founder’s pack #1 is now 42% more expensive than any AAA game on steam for brazilian customers. Guess what will come from this? A LOT of people who were planning on acquiring those packs #1 and 2 won’t do any of that anymore. This kind of execution is what we brazilians commonly call a “shot on one’s own foot” for IMC.

The price increase is exactly due to not using regional pricing system on steam anymore. For you guys who earn in dollars / euros / pounds, nothing will change, I guess. But for players from any other part of the world, this means a huge (almost 100%) increase on pricing.

I’m brazilian too man, you’re just freaking out, GM already estated the reason for the increase in price and said it may be changed once the exploit problem is dealt with.
Also said they will make an announcement about it. (in fact, makes sense they didn’t annouce cause exploiters would just buy the sh** out of the packs before price increase)

I see. Well, I didn’t see any statement of theirs saying this is just a set of temporary measures, but I do hope that’s the case. I also wonder if pricing will get back to normal before the founder’s pack discount ceases in the next days.
Because IMC isn’t selling cash shop during F2P, and all their revenue is from founder packs.
Because selling founder’s packs in dollars to everyone can’t possibly mean they would charge in dollars for TP’s in the near future too.

They said VPN, but they’re really just blowing smoke.
1 - You cannot use another currency on Steam unless you change your Steam region. This process has a “cooldown” (a month or 2), and if done enough will raise some red flags on your account.
2 - When you do that and try to make a purchase you will actually need a credit card with an address matching said country. You will also be ticking a box that says you attest to be residing in said country, and Valve can take action against your account if found out otherwise.
Good thing its going F2P soon and those packs wont exist.
