So yeah, that happened.

And there’s a problem with this. I would have no problem paying 50 bucks if I knew from the start, I have the money to pay for this, it’s a fine price for the amount of playtime I’ll get, I’d get more TP this way for the money, and I wanted to get back to playing. But something is still stopping me. My gut. And the gut feeling never betrayed me so far.

Why? Because this is 𝐅𝐔𝐂𝐊𝐈𝐍𝐆 cancer. I don’t want to support this. You shouldn’t either. If you accept it, it’ll happen next time, with next MMO you have your eyes on.

Springing this out on short notice, being secret about everything, I wonder if the game will be still running on June 19 at this pace. I don’t think there is a law that forbids them from just shutting servers down and running with your money. Sounds like an unrealistic ■■■■ move? Who knows, I’m expecting anything from them now.

For 10 bucks you could buy kToS account. Though they’ll probably region-lock it soon, it’s a risk that you should be aware of.

Really, you idiots should’ve agreed to make the game buy2play from the beginning. But nooo, better think of the poor people.

Sad part is that I might end up paying. Really, depends on how many people I know end up paying. Hopefully they don’t fall for the blatant shilling.

I really wish the game had less players than fifth day of iCBT1, but it seems a lot of people are going to buy this, legit or not.

Now is the time for damage control. Try to save this trainwreck, John.

You guys need to tell us how much that 600 TP is in dollars, how much will the item prices change compared to kToS, basically how much VALUE we’re getting out of this swindle.
Will there be a wipe at any point, can you switch servers, etc.

And to my friends, stay frosty. Don’t hop on the buy/nobuy train, sleep with the idea. We have time. See you in a week, or in three months. Who knows, we’ll see. :ok_hand:

No need to get upset bucko, I just pointed out why this is bad and that nobody cares anyway. It’s not the fact that we have to pay, it’s that it’s very sudden.
Next time read entire post before getting mad at it. :wink:

Try rationalizing next time without name calling. Its telling of your intellectual level that you are trying to make an argument by means of ad hominem.

Meanwhile in reality, this is not a question of entitlement.
They announced an open beta, only to screw over their players with a pay walled closed beta, and to further increase the hilarity of the situation, you are going to spend 50$ on a product that might be riddled with bugs.

Its no secret that gaming companies are on a rampage with capitalism, trying to overprice crap for the bare minimum of effort.
In a sane world, nobody had the gall to ask 50$ for the participation in an “open” beta. Azebu is perfectly within reason when he says that practices like these should not be supported.

Ofc sadly we have people like you in the other corner, who dont mind throwing cash at anything, while carrying the intellectual level of a hand of fleas, rationalizing your point by calling the opposition entitled and spoiled children.
