Why the game is dieing fast >.<

First of all Sorry for my bad englisch^^

I love TOS but that make me sad q.q

The games die fast cuz of few points.

  1. The bot Army is HUGE. If you go Tenet Garden and look what going on there its Insane… And IMC do nothing. You have a report button bot it feels like its do nothing if you see all this bots. You cant event make your quest cuz the bots kill the monster before you can even reach them. Many new player quit the game rly fast cuz of this.

  2. The hard TP/Silver Exploit. I mean its sh.it and i would prefer a wipe too(i have a lvl 221 chaplant before people say im low lvl one xD). But that will never happen. Cuz IMC dont care. I mean the thread is rly on fire but you get nothing from IMC no announce nothing. Thats sad.

  3. Many Bugs still in this game and the Dungeon Queue is still not working correctly. (good the most Quest-Bugs get fixed thats good but still some quest doesnt workl.)

  4. The Goldseller Spam in Citys… dont need to say more >.<

Wow, I’ve never seen these issues before - in-game or on the forums.

Good eye.

Oh, you mean that troll post with the “proof” that only an idiot would believe? Just making sure you’re talking about the same one I’m thinking of.

They already made an announcement about it.

Dear IMC, I can no longer exploit token abuse

therefore this game is dying and sh*t

bye

Yeah a game where a large number of issues is due to extreme over population and not even its f2p portion of the fanbase is here yet is a game that’s dying~

That is certainly not the case at all. The most serious issues have nothing to do with that whatsoever.

I. really. hate. people.

To be fair even the steam numbers show a heavy decline. To be expected once hype is done with and players start playing more regular amounts. Last I checked Peak unique player count at launch week was ~30k but has gradually fallen to ~15k. Sales numbers were in the 500k (I believe this included the exploiters of course but also that each DLC was a unique purchase as well, many players making all 3).

Dying though, hard to make that call. I would say all the issues do exist though, bots, rampant hacks and exploits. Games that can’t bring these down to manageable (for some reason most Korean MMOs cannot) tend to die rather quick.

The expectation that f2p is somehow going to bring a swarm of paying customers is overly exaggerated. Though it’s hard to show parallels from other examples, all we really have is that games that do go from a payment model to f2p typically are dying games (LoTR, DnD, swtor, etc) but ToS is just going from Early Access p2p to f2p. Similar enough to say that the people who are willing to pay and play are already here.

Edit: Woops meant to reply to OP.
