Why sea server still lag :((

it can’t be worse – they’ll lock the server before it gets to the same level.
there’s only a tiny window for it to be “the same”

so there’s extremely good odds it will be at least marginally better.
most likely, it will actually be a lot better.

what with the experiences gained from various load levels during the founders’ period, they should have a much better idea what the capacity of each individual server is, and will likely open more of them up rapidly as they fill up.

if they even fill up, given all the sh*tposting and bashing the angry players keep giving it.

So you are not even in our region and dare judge us?

The current SEA server is currently owned by bots. Yep, still alot of them roaming around. So that must be a major culprit in regards to server traffic atm.

Calm your tits and read the whole post.

i believe @Dream is right, imo
considering all other servers where F2P players and can join without a temp restriction.
just because SEA server got overcrowd IMC took an easy way out to deal with it, they had other options.
Open up the new SEA server before F2P releases and do another world transfer to split Telsiai up
Or even try to increase the server capacity which they did and a clear example is when the game launched and servers were flooded. (two NA servers)

Everyone assumed that F2P players were able to access founder servers once it goes live for F2P even IMC stated that.
It was unfair on P2P players as well as F2P players.

Only solution is to wait till the temp restriction on Telsiai to come off then F2P players can join
which means they have to wait a little longer :frowning:

which is not a problem when you consider the reality of they should still be waiting over a month and a half more but the game is being rushed to F2P due to the majority of the community throwing a fit.

YO GUYS this guys not even SEA player but he keep unstop arguing, he must up to something.

which, you mean the ones that have like… half the population on them?
yea, that’s a great argument.

no no, you’re totally right. we should just leave telsiai up as the only server in the region, and let the people just pack onto it more and more
even after it starts to completely crash and freeze and lose data.
yep.

Apparently if your not from the SEA region and have a understanding of server limitations your a villain… who knew?

i was amused to learn that these forums have a popup asking you to reconsider if you might be hogging the conversation too much.

“Did you know you’ve posted over 21% of the replies to this thread? Are you making sure to let others get a word in?” or something like that.

Telsia’s problems are only short-term tbh. Look at what happened to Orsha. When everyone else had connection issues in Klaipeda and some people went to Orsha because of it, look how they regret it now. Sure there will be more people once F2P hits, but NA audience is so much lower than other regions so I highly doubt we’ll see a drastic change. In the long term, the new SEA server will have a lot more people and possibly more bots. God knows how many RO fans are in Philippines, Singapore, Malaysia, etc.

Weird i haven’t got that and i think im a few posts up on you. Not that it matters we have tons of these SEA threads spammed on the forums anyway. If only we had told them one large high activity thread with low conflict gets staff attention… o wait i think we have told them that like 10 times each.

well they originally planned it to be 3 months so yeh i know its being rushed.
i know IMC are doing pretty good job

Recent patches have been decent but they still have a long way to go.

Server stability and codeing needs work

and after that all this market/trade ■■■■ needs to be delt with.

i already know that dude, your only taking bits of what i said…
hence why i suggested solutions… even if it was not possible for IMC to do…

pretty sure they wouldnt leave it as it is before F2P releases… obviously they would do something… and that something they decided to do was open another server…

even if they didnt open another server and stuck with just the one SEA server they wouldnt bloody leave it as it is. who in the right mind would… even when they stated it being overloaded…

One i dont care what the outcome is i am simply stating my thought (opinion) on the matter, in simple terms… i believe they had other options…
Even though there was a change in plans for improvement… it was still unfair.

you need to get off your high horse

oh nah, i’ll be fair, i’ve only said it maybe 2-3 times. :stuck_out_tongue:

@kradenmike4 Telsiai’s problems will last until its population deflates. although, yea, that might not take too long given the current state of things. then again, maybe everyone will be stubborn and wait for someone else to leave. (or make their friends come join them.)
i’m on orsha and i am not having any problems (other than having trouble finding buffs the first day after the maintenance lol)
not including Verena, i’m predicting at least 1 new server per region when f2p stabilizes… but probably not more than 2 per region. so 5-10 new servers all told. but who knows, it might be a total flood and maybe we’ll see 5-10 new servers per region.

The issue right here, THE MAIN ISSUE is the fact that IMC is forcing us to make a CHOICE that actually has REPERCUSSIONS on our end because they ■■■■■■ up. This shouldn’t even be happening and obviously there is going to be some community backlash as a result.

Those saying that the issue is OUR fault is retarded. IMC is making us PAY to have an exclusive access to the game. Aside from the hiccups from the first few days which is to be expected from a new release, I would expect the servers to be in a condition that is at stable enough for decent gameplay. We are all paying good money for a game we expect to be enjoyable.

So we the players PURCHASE the game, SUPPORT the game and start playing on the ONLY SEA server, and somehow overpopulate it causing it to be unstable, and that’s our fault? Are you mad?

Another thing, population deflating is a retarded solution. It means either players QUITING or transferring (which can happen only 3 weeks after F2P) or creating a new team on the other server (Then what was this 1 month head start for then). Have you even given it some thought? Here have a minute and let it sink in.

The best solution is for them to increase the server capacities and create more servers for SEA, cause obviously there is a larger population compared to the other regions.

Look we have a legit reason to complain and be pissy about the current situation. Granted people shouldn’t create so many threads about it BUT I believe we have the right to complain about it. If you still insist that we are whining or crying, just piss off, you don’t make the decisions anyway so don’t make the situation worse.

ALSO, given that there is actually an overpopulation, sales for them must have been a huge success. Food for thought.

You have a choice confirmed!

never said it was your fault simply said you have a choice which you agree with.

No that was a choice to, there is a option to wait.

Not that simple

… they are doing that

You don’t either and this topic spam is making things worse with no benefit lol

I also never said don’t complain i said keep it to one thread so it gets the attention you want.

And again that is the issue.

Did I mention you?

No, read what I said. You have to pay to have exclusive access(1 month) to the game. Are you implying there is a choice for me to acquire the exclusive access for free?

I never said it was easy. I said it was the best.

Again all I was stating was the best solution. I never said they weren’t doing it.

You also acknowledged that this is making things worse. The conversation above and your post count aren’t really convincing, though the other guy was really asking for it.

And replying to me in this format, its like you’re trying to pick a fight with me, though on the redundant parts. I would just call it quits right here unless you want to continue.
