Why me and my friends gonna @quit TOS

Use your graphics card’s utility software to override the features and turn off v-synch. I get 140FPS running around fields usually and down to 31 FPS around towns and dungeons with a lot of players.

Obviously this means the optimization is poor still, but it’s a huge improvement from when I was just using in-game settings.

the thing is i have no idea how to tweak those thingis. already have v-scynch off since cbt1.

there are many games that are graphically legitimately more demanding, ToS’s setup seems to thinks it on par with them.

You ‘quit’, but let me answer some questions, because it’s time to dawn the purest of whiteknight armors.

1, 2, 3 - My answer to you is actually try to manage something. I mean something larger than just homework, an actual project. It is hard to try and act like an Oracle, forecasting and predicting how things will play out; and for IMC as an publisher who also has to play the role as developer, some things will be kept in the dark. Sometimes circumstances change rapidly, like the 3 month to 1 month transition. Honestly, they have taken notice and they ARE responding to the community; For better or worse considering the toxicity.

They’re not absolutely the best. But I can definitely say it isn’t as shitty as people make it out to be.

4 - I’ve had worse. This is pretty negligible considering IMC usually forecasts a scheduled maintainence. Emergencies are Emergencies.

5 - Refer to 1,2,3. You can’t forecast something you cannot confirm. Because then you get called a liar.

6 - No Moderators, which I imagine would be one of the worst paid intern jobs to deal with the handful of shitposters who ride off the hate trains (First IMC shitposting, then Nationality Wars, then Botter/Hacker wave, etc.) I suppose I would want them, but that’d make about a good 40% of the posts in this section go away due to toxicity.

7 - You mean like, 95% of MMORPGs ever?

8 - Are you actually being proactive in finding a party, or are you blaming the system for your ineptitude. In any case, this may be one of the few legitimate complaints that could be improved, at least queue wise.

9 - You’ve never seen it, I suppose. I’ve seen both GM Durian and John in game, answering things and slapping around bots. They do get in game.

10 - Holy crap you have to do research to benefit yourself better? Whoooooooa.
The only legitimate complaint here would be Finding grinding fields without bots, which is steadily being erased. Bugged quests happen in practically every game and usually end up fixed fairly reliably. Welcome to every brand new start of a game ever.

Honestly, these ragequit threads are down to a science- the most of them being from people who joined mysteriously less than an hour ago. I don’t ignore most of the actual issues which are prevalent in most of the posts, but the bulk of them are just filled with entitlement BS that’s honestly exaggerated.

Your graphics card should come with software to override in-game settings. You can turn a lot of the options down/off and it should have a large spike up in your performance.

Try working in an engineering company and leading a project. You will find how irresponsible IMC actually is.

But that doesn’t matter, because no matter what IMC does people will kept on saying managing a project is hard therefore they are forgiveable.

I always find it funny that people think it’s okay to fail enough to lose that much players or gain this much negative rating. If that happened in any other industry, IMC will be fired. Clearly they are complacent with themselves now.

Why do you think I made a separate line saying that they are far from the best in regards to this?

But in any case, actually doing the project itself varies, but I mean actually meeting deadlines and foreshadowing, “Oh, X and X will most certainly happen by Y time!” but when Y comes and X and X aren’t ready, then what? IMC seems to have a basis for what it wants to do, but they don’t want to say anything because they don’t want to take back things and further out the rage. Look at what happened to the 3 month to 1 month transition.

However, I do agree about the ratings as they stand right now. I have a feeling they’ll improve as the majority seems to be people complaining about the state of the game at their point rather than what could happen in the future. The iCBT2 ratings and the early OBT ratings will reflect the game when F2Ps are allowed, but I believe with time it’ll change as they are adjusting themselves. I don’t think of it as an outright definitive failure, I think of it as a fairly crappy start, which is where we pretty much divide.

This 2 lines actually have different meaning. The first one is too forgiving and triggered me.

I’m mainly replying to this line.

Tbh I’m actually expecting IMC to delay the release by 2 months, and then have the early access for 1 month. I didn’t expect things to come this fast. I think the main reason why most disagree with 3 months early access is because the EA player will gain too much advantage compared to f2p player.

Mmm, I see. I actually re-read my posts before making that second one and realized that. In my defense, I did put on the most shining of white armor. Maybe it blinded even me for a moment, my word choice falters at times. My bad.

And yeah, though that advantage would really stem from PvP as having advantages in PvE simply mean the queues would be quieter and more upper level. Because now the thing is they have to work 3x as hard as their original work schedule, implying things would have stayed the same anyway. Rushing is making these updates happen is probably their way of just making it just solid enough for the F2Pers to play. Which is why I give it a little more time before I expect rating changes.
As they are right now, and if the game stayed at the point, of when those reviews were made, then even I’d call it a ded game- There’s a reason why every developer doesn’t publish their own game. But it’s improving. Slowly…

Yeah, I’m flaming IMC everyday currently, but hope that they can actually revert all their mistake and make this a great game.

I can only hope.

That’s because Riot games is owned by Tencent and the game quickly lost all hope after 2012.

gah another I-need-people-to-validate-my-rant-before-I-really-quit post.

sure OP listed fair questions that probably most of us posters here are already aware of, but the way the whole post was poorly researched (scroll up for some posts that listed the answers), and the absurdity of the…abstract artwork that came after, it’s just too hard to take him seriously.

so, I’m sorry you feel that way OP, don’t wait until IMC tells you “You’re right, we’re wrong” because they probably won’t give anyone that satisfaction.

why wait when you and your friends can ride away in style?

Toodles~

it think it proves the point that your a cry baby. you literally complain about everything
