You are the one that not going to quit the game, you wrote too much which you care…
Welcome to tree of problematic !! Enjoy the game
I’m not talking about Dullahan only and that has nothing to do with Roxona gear. I have plenty of money to buy whener roxona set i want but it is actually not worth it anyway. It is just the fact that the most efficient way of farming in this game is by far world bossing and it is completely one-sided. How many cubes do u think people get per day? only from dulla u can easily get 30 cubes just by logging in at the right spawn time and that is probably a guaranteed karacha dagger at least, besides fragments and stuff. Same goes with WB like Cerberus etc.
The other option is spend 10 hours try to drop some rare stuff in maps with ridiculous spawn rates till ur fingers bleed and u get it, but the trade-off is not good enough.
Maybe the real deal is to drop Running shot gem and try to sell it for 20-30m silver, but man, it can take u weeks to get it.
Have u ever play other mmorp? the amount of farm here is a joke. I play wow a lot and this game is refreshing in a great amount of points…
Maybe this kind of game is not your style, and thats ok, but big part of issues you adress are a feature, not a problem.
Pff. Too early to quit. There’ll be lots of things to enjoy in this game. Just a matter of time. See ya.
I’m messing around mostly. But yeah you’re right.
Not quitting either, tryin to maintain a clear idea of the game until its been a year. I’ll give them a year, fi the game isn’t getting better by the time this game hits one year old. Well, Im gone.
Did the same with Ragnarok online 2, which was well, for a while, until nothing changed. Then it was horribad. xD
- QQ. Atleast it’s not a weekly wait like WoW.
- QQ MORE. What’s the point if the gear is easy to get.
- There is no such thing as “fun” grinding.
- Actually the game encourages partying because if you refuse to then you suffer from ksers. The problem is people don’t like to party. It’s not the game.
- I don’t know what you’re talking about I actually like the trading system. Just because you can’t “transfer” currency doesn’t make it sh!t.
- Seriously you just sound like a crybaby who seeks “perfection” that doesn’t exist. Each class has a role. It’s like rolling a pardoner and asking for DPS skills because it’ll “balance” the class. This game thrives on individuality and uniqueness. There is no meta.
- 200 levels same items? lol might because you refuse to farm it. expect it to be fed to you on a silver platter.
- Then start socializing and find people to monopolize some of your own world bosses. If you want to solo everything then play a different game. fuark me.
- You just hating too much to enjoy it.
- Farewell, glad you’re leaving. Plenty of games for filthy casuals.
Only replying to this QQ thread because of maintainence <3
- Dungeon entry per 24 hours only 2-3x? Pay for reset
vouchers? Am I the only one who sees the mundane parallel to WeFarm.
-once u are higher lvl .u would have access to farm more areas.it is also a counter measure to stop ppl from lvling too fast.
all in all just do ur daily and go do ur quest.
- Finding decent gear at higher levels feels near impossible because I’m not willing to grind in a single spot for days and days (too boring feels like huge waste of time for a small reward).
-well blame ur laziness,i think u need a auto raid game.not a mmorpg.
but back to the eral world,u can always earn fast money to buy them OR skip a few gear and save for a better one later.
- Game has some of the most boring grinding I’ve ever experienced and is exacerbated by having to do it for so long and in designated spots only.
-cant deny on that.anyway most of the time u should be doing dungeons and mission.if u are complaining about this,u spent too much time playing the game.go out and take a break lol.
- Partying is not incentivised properly outside of only 1 mission dungeon, lower level dungeons and 215+ if your build is polarized to the meta…
-i have voiced out this to IMC before. agree with u.seriously speaking if they were to make all class available to grind ,instead of restrainting it to per char at a specific class path. the game would have gone to a whole better lvl and fun
- Trading feels like total crap. Need I say more about this…
-it was better in icbt,i blame gold buyers for causing this ■■■■ to happen.
- Massive imbalance in classes leading to dead end for more than a few builds at lvl 215+…
-game is still incomplete in a way.too many things might happen for the same class in future.again i stress that IF they let all classes be attenable.
this wont happen…
- Awful item variation, stuck with same items for nearly 200 levels… No sense of customized item builds at any point in the entire game…
-if u were referring to the outlook of char.they are just trying to force u to buy costumes lol.
- End Game World bosses monopolized.
-blame greedy idiots…even in ICBT there were boss hogging.but everyone is helpful to let others join the hunt.
i got a feeling i know which country is those ppl from… go figure…
- There is no good PvP at all unless maybe you are in a guild and at the end of the game, but even then…
-they need to improve on that. currently they have too much things to really handle lol.let’s not dwell on this .since some games dont even release pvp feature in the early games.
they kinda released everyone.so dont expect everything to be at their best.
- There are uncountable games from the last 10+ years that blow this one out of the water. I don’t see a point in playing when I can play something magnitudes funner, the whole experience (I have over 500 hours spent on this game) has been very unrewarding to say the least. And I don’t see it getting anywhere near where I would enjoy it even close to as much as I would playing on other games.
-every game Dev has their ideas on making their games standout.
tos has its good points and bad for now.
i just hope they will look into wat everyone is doing and improve on their game.
this can be potentially be a good game.just be patient
Farewell. I will check back once in awhile to see if anything is changed but wont get my hopes up. It was funnest when I didn’t know how bad the game actually was.
-well take care and enjoy ur other games. if tos DO turn for the better,i am sure u will come back when the time comes
-
Game is F2P with a vip monthly system. Just like tibia, runescape, the free RO server, think of it as a WoW sub. You can play free, but is not intended to be nice. Plus, 600k for a token, if u cant farm that maybe this is the wrong game.
-
Its impossible because YOU DON’T WANT? so whats ur sugestion? Get dungeons points and trade for a full set in the NPC in one week on a global server? Play WOW kid
-
Grinding was never good, if you dont like grinding dont play this game.
-
Nobody needs to accept your piece of trash build, people like to be OP and play with those with the same mindset. Create your own party and stop bitching.
-
Read 1. Plus, while they cant control the bots its good that trade remains locked.
-
Just like any game like RO, D2 or any game that you actually build your character. Skill reset is fairly cheap and you can change your build if you didnt ■■■■■■ up the stats ofc
-
There is customized skill+stat build, u want MORE? Wtf is wrong with kids these days…
-
CAMP A SPOT AND GET ONE YOURSELF, I killed countless world bosses, is not easy but is doable. You must be the type that thinks “i will kill a boss” then go there and wants immediately to be there. Its a ■■■■■■■ world boss, it must be that way. A lot of games (Including, you guessed, ragnarok) had world bosses with the same style, people always cry about how they dont have time to camp and kill a world boss. well, some news, its not for everybody
why those who spend 12 or 15 hours in a game should have to compete with the casual that plays 2hours every 3 days? If you manage to keep the timing and killing, its your payoff, again, stop bitchng. -
You never made to endgame to know. Probably you dont even know how to build PvP.
-
RIP in pieces casual

Welcome to your 10 years MMORPG experience? Many dungeons have this kind of control mechanism to create artificially low item numbers on the market and/or ± the gold-(silver in ToS) gain. Play e.g. Dragon Nest, it’s hilarious with 1-3 nest entries per week, forcing you to play multiple characters to gear 1 of them decently, and it still takes a lot of time. RIP non-open world MMORPGs, ToS is fair enough to just limit the instance entries.
-
Finding high level gear is always a little harder, because people are supposed to put some effort into playing. Just remember normal RPGs, where you had to solve xyz riddles and go to some totally deserted place to find a single item after grinding several hours through a dungeon. Just saying Harvest Moon mining or Disgaea item world e.g…
-
Grinding is called grinding because you are supposed to grind your teeth in agony over it. Achieving sth feels just more rewarding if not everyone has it.
-
partying is only not needed because the Archer and Wizard classes are broken. If they’d put in more unevadeable attacks that hurt or more status effects like stun/sleep, it would become encouraged way more.
-
Trading sux, but mostly you won’t trade many things anyway because rare items are rare to find and needed for high level craftings/collections
-
Welcome again to MMORPG hell. It’s always like that in modern MMORPGs because of favoritism[curse you Devs of MMORPGs] and broken skills. Just because a certain build deals less damage or has less HP doesn’t always mean it’s less efficient. And honestly, if you just skill crappy skills, how are you supposed to play the game anyway? Most info is included in the skill description and you have to use your brains to choose which skills you want to skill and which ones you don’t need for your gameplay. All classes are at least viable because of their basic traits inherited by the characters job [e.g. Cleric] allows them to do at least basic lvling[even heal&cure deal damage, show me another game except RO that has a similar feature].
This is at least better than games that buff&nerf classes in an endless Rondo[looking at Dragon Nest again] where people tend to bandwagon xyz class with u build just to be OP noobs who can’t play the fkin game if the devs don’t baby them.
-
I’ve so far changed most of my equip at every equip cap [lvl 15,40,75,120] because it is just so much more effective to go with new gear. The variation could be a bit larger [e.g. Sunculus Maul or Krausas Mace are like fixed items on Monk&Bokor, although they scale very badly if you reach higher levels, but you just don’t want to loose the effect…].
-
There is no endgame content in this game yet. We have a max level of 280, although there are at least over 480 levels planned/partly released on other ToS versions. Lvl 280 stuff is not endgame and will never be, endgame stuff is when you reach the last level that is planned for the game [in Square enix games e.g. it’s lvl 99, in RO it was lvl 99 for nearly 10 years]. Monopolizing yeah, but it’s always like that, overworld stuff that is FFA is just rewarding the MVPs and noone else. The recent changes [in KToS I believe?]made it a little more fair, but competition is never fair, one lesson you should’ve learned already in your life…
-
fk PvP. If you want PvP go play a PvP game like MOBAs or Egoshooters. PvP is a feature, and it’s badly made in most games (except RO) because of rebalancing issues and buffing/nerfing certain classes more than others. This is just stupid to ask of people who are considered to rescue the world and goddesses together to kill each other - for glory/ego/e-penis?
-
Yeah ToS has a lot of issues, but other games have them, too, and believe me, most games simply suck because they are badly made and leave ± no room for costumization (same gear&same skillbuild or ftw).
Go and play your bandwagon games, they all suck[except those war machinery games where you battle each other with tanks, battle ships or airplanes, but they are not RPGs anyway] because they either baby you[best gear=quest gear e.g] or restrict you [no stat point distribution, fixed weapon and armor types for all classes, only one or two class/job specializations per base class{if any at all} and crappy combat system] like no tomorrow.
ToS is the best game that came out during the last few years that tackles all those aspects[having a relatively free gameplay experience], the only other one I can remember having an impact is The Elderscrolls Online.
