I noticed this game isn’t on the list for Steam Top Free to Play games.
Is Steam sabotaging the game? Number of players are between 10k-15k. It should be beating WildStar or Tera which has less than 3k players.
This could be one reason why no new players are playing.
IMC should look into this.

Some people in this thread are way the ■■■■ off base. This is a legitimate thing. It’s not anywhere to be found in the most popular f2p list, which should only be arranged by concurrent player count. Plenty of games up there have way fewer concurrent players than ToS.
If you look at the popular tags for the game, free to play isn’t one of the top tags unless you extend to see the full tags list. That could be the reason why. And it probably has to do with most of the tags being added by people who bought the early release version, so the game never actually got marked as free to play.
Maybe if the devs are notified they can get in touch with Valve to rectify this.

ArcheAge is up there with 1.5k concurrent players and 57% positive.

Considering the current and past issues, I’m not surprised. Hell, ToS is hardly my top ten either. But I still play it anyway.
I bet it does take over 10% of your game time, which means you enjoy (or grief through it) more than others.
It could be multiple things, recent changes like reopening for registration y just a few days ago broke through 50% positive. These could be affecting the algorithm and something for IMC marketing to talk to valve about. Thread is quite valid from that point of view, a featured page could bring quite a few new players.

I really wish you would make it 40001 lost. All you do is “look at the playerbase loss!, there are bots and fps issues! game is going to die! fix it imc you do nothing! Its white knights fault for all of this!”. At least the other trolls are funny sometimes.

Oh, it does. 
It’s still rather fun to play, so long as I don’t get burnt out for playing alts. Problems honestly aren’t too gamebreaking to me; they’re annoyances at best though I do wish we get better weekly patches soon.
And as long imc workbon it it will never be.
