Why is there no free skill reset/sub-class change?

With a game that offers so many class choices and diversity you would think that it’s a nobrainer to let players reset and rebuild their character at all times to find out what they like and let players turn themselves into a support when needed or a dps when needed. This would eliminate the horrible lvling experience most clerics/support classes have.

This is something that would have made the game 100 times better and heck I would look past the horrible sub feature and all the other issues this game has if this existed.

I will never understand why some gaming developers do not understand that you want your players to have fun, you don’t want to frustrate them by forcing them to make a new character every time they go a wrong build or force them to make a new character just to have a support making them redo the entire game all over again making it more repetitive and eventually boring your players to death. This game had so much potential, it’s a shame.

it is clear you did not play RO on a legit server.
It might shock you then, that this exact system you seem to hate is what makes the game enjoyable in a lot of peoples eyes.
People enjoy the fact that there are good and bad builds, that there are easy and hard builds for leveling etc.
People like me who enjoy rerolling several chars and working towards a specific build.
I think the truth is, that this game is just not for you.

Yes you can please hand your Cash to IMC and pay…
Nothing more about paying, tree of savior is all about paying to get those item…

Thats ridiculous, it would ruin the uniqueness of the classes and would promote meta/cookie cutter builds and thats one thing ToS doesnt need.

Plan in advance with tosbase calculator, watch videos, make a post in the class forums.

If you screwed up, you either move on or create a new character. There are plenty of ways to get your characters right: by searching for builds or using class/stat/skill calculators.

I don’t mind given a chance to respec as a quest reward, but only one or two points respec. Total reset is asking too much.

You can easily screwed up you class but you wont hurt to pay for skill/stat reset scroll…

You need to plan your build in advance. The sense of originality and pride you get after levelling your character for hours and picking all the classes you want would be entirely gone if anyone could just change all their classes on a whim. What you are suggesting is the dumbest thing I have ever heard, and goes against everything this game stands for.

MAYBE there could be a method to change 1 of your sub-classes once a month with a sort of really hard grindy quest. But free skill/sub-class change is the most anti-fun thing I have ever heard.

Stat and skill scrolls are fine, but changing an entire sub-class like OP wants is ridiculous

Ohh those ranks class change as OP mention, that maybe OP can create himself that subclass scroll…
I honesty don’t recommend this kind of scroll to be happen as it will ruin the build that we plan to use…

Anyway, GL to op either carryon or reroll a new toon…
