Why is there a wait to time to retrieve silver from items sold?

I’m really trying to figure out what exactly is the point of having to wait 2 days to receive the silver from items sold? This is literally the first game i play that has this restriction and its really getting old and starting to infuriate me. I know i have silver but can’t to use it.

To make matters worst i learned very recently… Items i purchase on one toon become untradable thus unable to place in team bank. SoOo yesterday i logged in the morning noticed someone added an item i’ve been wanting to buy for days… got excited…instantly purchased… MOTHA#%@$@$ !!! I CANT move it to the toon that already has 30ish of the 60+ i need… gg

TLDR : WHY IS THERE SO MANY STUPID RESTRICTIONS ?!?!

TOS is a hardcore game. Dealing with endless restrictions is part of the hardcore experience.

The excuse it’s to combat bots, RMT and all those scumbags that make MMOs a living battlefield…

Yeah but, in which way this kind of restriction helps against bots? I tried to think about it but I really don’t see any point to this, except maybe, annoying even more the players because we obviously don’t have enough restrictions yet…

Sad thing is that we can’t even say they are working perfectly, there is bots everywhere… But with the trading restrictions, it’ll make someone think twice before buying from gold seller, and this point is good, I just don’t understand the other ones.

in a perfect world it allows GM to check your account and cansel the transaction before it finish…

or something like that, I was talking of all restrictions in general too

I’ve literally sat there and tried thinking of the possible ways this wait time is helpful and can legit think of none other then trying to upset me… The Player.

but hey, u either embrace it or quit tos coz imc not gonna remove it

welcome new player, you’ll discover more frustrating thing down the road

IMC thought they could manage their own logs and databases then ban RMT and bots within 2 days before the silver could be transfered via the auction house between accounts. But they didn’t and clearly can’t so it’s not working and everyone is stuck in the stupidly bad design plans.

You shouldve notice there is a ‘report’ button in the auction page. I’m guessing the 2 days time is to allow IMC to have sufficient time to check the reported trades. However who the hell will do these reports when we can cant even know if the person is doing something illegal. Every reports are made based on assumptions, no evidence and can possibly just a troll report. They will have check one by one(if anyone even reported any trades) during that period of time. We absolutely have no idea if they actually check the reports.

2 days is even too short seeing how it takes them more than a month to fix a bug that can probably be solved by excrulon’s add-ons.
