Why is it too low players now?

I played this game way back 2017 its been 2 years and that time when you queue in any dungeon there’s lot of players. I just came back for last 2 days and I felt so bored its like a ghost town, should probably merge the servers. Right now I’m struggling with the reasons

  • Lack of resources to search - Its so hard to find stuffs that you need, like quest; class;leveling
  • No volunteer players that streaming this game or putting knowledgeable content on youtube.
  • Its so hard to farm - I’m solo player, and F2P I only buying the monthly premium and thats it. No auto for grinding or farming, specially the map, its so huge you have to run through all of it. For a working person we don’t have much time to spend a lot in front computer playing games. I could say most of us in this era choosing those practical game that for stress reliever; you can leave while doing things. Something like your not forcing a person to do stuff, let the game do it for us.

Anyway its just my opinion.

Elitism and whales killed it.

The game is no longer what it was in the past, but you pointed out some unaccurate things.

The updated database source change time to time, but you can acess https://tos.guru/itos/home and search for itens, equips and build simulator. i think there’s an updated leveling guide here on forums, take a look too.

At least on Silute, we have some people that stream. However, you can find a lot of koreans that upload videos on youtube, for example: Ludo Game, Bong ToS and others.

This is debatable, but it’s a korean MMORPG, you should expect to be grindy at last.

There’s a forum section filled with new guides thanks to the ongoing contest. It’s hard to find good in-depth guides about classes and builds because people are still getting used to the changes brought by Re:Build.

Why would you want that? This isn’t a mobile game.

Anyway, the Re:Build hype is probably over, so the player count is quickly going down again. It improved the class system and most PvE aspects, but PvP is worse than ever with Boruta being the worst content ever made and the server instability makes Gemstone Feud a pain in the ass to play. Besides, other core issues remain unsolved, like the contant stuttering (will it really be fixed with the next optimization patch? Who knows?), gear upgrading system, map channels prone to crash, etc.

For what propose you want an auto-grinding feature? As someone said, this is not a mobile game.

If you don’t have time to grind in game, just make a map per day or something like that. This does not take more than an hour or two depending on if you go crazy or you stop to read the quests and things like that.

And be happy that you can not make Borutas content, if you could do that you would have already given up from Tree of Savior

Real talk, I don’t know how could you take the loneliness of being alone or being in a group of lonely people. I don’t have hate on this game, its actually awesome and I really like it, I still gonna come back soon if there are more interesting changes, just the game strategy are pretty failure. Take a look at the statistics its just a 1.5 - 2.5k players per month this includes those kids commented above^. For international and vast diverse game like this, it should be at least 10k minimum ave players per month to fill out those queues and maps right away. Even the market economy are being affected, e.g (if its just small amount of farmers then its a small amount of items being sold in the market) unless you have enough money from your parents to pay cash for the game so could buy stuffs.

And take a look, from May 2016 months after the opening of the game that’s a huge amount of players who’s hoping for their expectation but its not. Isn’t that a failure? From 24,026.9 ave of players it drops to 1,243.5 players of december 2018 and its not a gradual its a fall down at the glance lol thats around 90% lost of players , 90% of players who quit the game ladies and gentlemen. Its unfortunate but a reality.

That was a misfortune for IMC, I’m still hoping or the others too maybe, just the game strategies are pretty sucks.

Bugs, pay2win, restrictions, performance, general bad ideas and concepts, bots, etc.

Despite the initial player loss, which I dare to say it’s quite normal for every mmo (altho bugs and bad server performance had their big role here), the game managed to stabilize to a steady 3k+ CCU until balance patch was released.

After that, it dipped hard to 1.2k CCU.

In my opinion, from the supposed “balance patch” the game began losing what made it unique and went full p2w mode.
8X tomes, DA, leticia cube, exploits, botters, afk farmers, bugs, poor performance and the incredible ineptitude of IMC contributed to a large amount.

The game we are playing today, compared to vanilla ToS, is plain shitty and I’m pretty sure CCU will go back to 1.2k if not lower.

The only ones happy with the game are whales.
