LITERALLY every single person I’ve met whether it be on the forums or in-game is in their twenties or are even older… like that’s really shocking, this is the first game I’ve ever played where there are less teenagers than adults. But why??? Is it because of Ragnarok nostalgia? I’ve only met like 2 people that are in my age range (13-18) and haven’t met any more… WHERE ARE YOU ALL??

Because current generation of 13-18 are spoiled little brats that want instant gratification. So grindy games like ToS dont attract them - they’ll rather play some lobby/session based, fast paced games.

I think most people that play mmos are at least 18 anyways just due to the fact that sometimes you have to pay a sub or for certain items and things. You may not have so much time besides in the summer to play as well and it’s nice to play mmos after work to unwind. In highschool you’d probably have a lot of homework and in college you usually have more free time than in highschool, depending on your schedule.
Definitely RO nostalgia. I’m 32 and a big fan of RO and Kim Hakkyu.

Because your generation tend to play games which requires minimal tasks in exchange gives optimal rewards because most of you just want everything spoonfed while most of older generations understands the meaning of the word “hardwork” get that to your thick skull and move on.

MOBAs are always the same ■■■■, and some like League of Legends for example works with a fixed META now, I remember when builds used to give a chance to be dynamic instead of forcing you into doing something or be useless.
Well, they just made the game more suitable for their retard audience.
People always turn multiplayer games with “choices” into META… it’s why I’m worried about the diversity in Tree of Savior after some years.
Human nature demands the best of everything and once the theorycrafters have had enough experience with a game over some years, they set the META which is basically the “Statistically Best Tactic” and all players jump aboard.
It was kinda a complaint with FFXIV. The “top” raiding groups would rush their guides out and everyone just follows those guides religiously even though there’s more than one way to do a fight (usually lol). Often times I would be arguing with people about how inefficient these strategies were because these “top” raiding groups didn’t always have the best ideas but GOD FORBID you argued against these Saviors of Raiding.

Lost Ark looks real promising aswell.
Tree of Savior is because its design reminds of Ragnarok.
