I donāt think this style of game really appeals to the younger generation.
I played both of those games, as well as Helbreath back in 1999⦠and Pristontale I still have a level 95 Assassin in that game but it takes waaaaaaaay too long to level up
I used to play Ro and even then most of player where in their 20, especially Top players. Ten to 15 years later it no strange they are in their 30, rare it s 13-18 hardcore player that fully understand mmorpg mechanics.
Theyāre all stuck in their stupid tablets OR playing League of Legends.
Awwww me tooo!!! I started play RO about same age ā¦since the very beginning of the game. (now imagine how old I am XDDD) when they introduce Glast Heim and all the story related with Geffen (I always love all the stories/quest in RO) but I really enojoy all kind of videogamesā¦I mean, not only mmorpgs. One of my fav videogames is assassinās creed.
@AnitaCafe Amm Iām not a mother, but Iām married ā¦that counts? xDDD
Totally. XD Hard to find married folks too!
aint cs:go and CoD had more teenage audience compare to some other games.
im married with a mortgage and no kids
Better wait 30 more years for that newfag
Im and my wife starts play iRO in 2003, befor that been Ultima, PSO⦠now my wife some times playing mmorpg, my daughter 13 and she play in TERA nowā¦
39 here
Games targeted at teens these days have more instant gratification mechanics as teens have shorter attention span (mainly too many choices/games to choose from). Look at the number of games where you can get an achievement of logging in for the first time (what an achievement lol).
The nature of ToS which is to slowly build up your character will appeal lesser to this crowd, which diminishes the number of teenagers who want to play ToS.
Another reason I can think of is the lack of marketing for ToS in the international markets. Teens who often go for the more main-steam (marketed more) games will not even look at it since their friends are not playing (not popular amongst peers).
Because they donāt know how to install the game, kinda complicated with current limitation or maybe they play what their friends playing. League of legends :S
Im 30 now and i used to bang girls on lan houses back in my days, i dont get where you took this dorky hollywood 80ās reference from but this is older than atari itself.
On? You took them onto the roof and did your deed?
