Every build i see skips highlander completely. What exactly is wrong with the class? Is it actually good at anything?
Yes its good at being an op badarse tank
There’s nothing majorly wrong with Highlander. It lets you equip strong two-handed swords, and has strong skills and attributes.
What classes are used in the builds you saw? Maybe they’re going for Peltasta? They’re more tanky and can provoke many mobs, pulling them. Swash Buckling (provoke) + Umbo Blow(AoE) = win in grinding.
Highlanders can keep up in grinding with their strong normal attacks because of 2H swords, but adding their skills, they’re very formidable against bosses.

That ‘hot’ mark indicates Highlander as the most popular class at circle 2.
And yes, it is potentially (after some bug fixes) very strong class.
Highlander has a very strong AoE attack that is really good for solo fighting bosses.
