The bosses attack so slow you shouldn’t be getting hit that much to begin with.
To move them away from the tree’s spawn point.
Because if you kill one the tree spawns.
Ex kill the mole
The tree spawns
you are now fighting the pota and the tree.
Now if you kill the tree the pota disappears and you lose the xp.
TLDR to prevent stupid people costing you xp.
I’d rather kill mole first then bear while I do the same thing to the tree but face the back to team so apples dont get tossed at them.
On my Sadhdruid i kite Poata away while keeping heal tiles (11-12 of them) up for healing, both me and the group, i can keep Poata on me for a long time since it is weak against holy damage and i cause a massive amount of damage with Cure and Possession.
So when the group finish up the Mole, Poata is already at half way down or even more.
There are some that lure both bosses to the room before, one kite one of the bosses while the rest of the group kill the other, then the one being kitted and finally the tree.
It depend on the group, but most of times, they all mess up and go on a crazy hitting contest and end up dying most of times.
During the lower levels it’s often common, however as you rank up there isn’t a need to pull aggro of boss, they’re pretty easy to kill.
Sad part is this happens to me multiple times. There’s always one idiot who decides to fight the Tree and kills the EXP from the Poata.
And tbh, if you have a squishy team, it may be better to fight one at a time, especially to prevent dumb deaths like getting stunlocked.
I’m always mobbing them together and kill them at the same time ö,ö
There are pros and cons for both methods. If you want to finish the mission quick, then you can pull them together. However, if you have a Chronomancer in your group, then it is best to pull them one at a time so that Chronomancer can have time to cast Resurrection on each bosses.
its common in the lower ones because people are still weak and most people haven’t entered into the part of their build where they’re actually effective.
after 170 is when almost everyone finally hits the damage spike they been waiting for when they don’t need to do it one by one anymore.
sometimes u just cant hit two big bosses anyway. some classes have small aoe ratio, limited hits (cure, carnivory, etc.) so killing one by one is more efficient. when u fight two at once, u waste a lot of time dodging or getting disrupted (mole thorns, pota growl, apples)
Better safe than sorry. Sure it attacks so slow and is predictable, but nobody is perfect. Mistakes and stupid stuff happens. I saw some of your random members getting hit and some at critical health. Immagine you get someone 15 levels higher than you. In the middle of a bad timing you can get one shotted by mole. Unless you’re that perfect player who never makes mistakes and never popped a potion or campfire. Well mistakes and stupid stuff happen. Sure you can say get more con but why gimp your build just for a small part of the game.
Because archers want to show off that they can kite a boss minster effectively by themselves, rather than grouping the 2 bosses together and spamming strong aoe attacks on both of them
