Why did I not receive the 99 TP compensation?

I submitted a ticket, but received a less-than-helpful response. I submitted another ticket asking for more clarification as to why my account is not eligible, but I am expecting it will be a while before I get a response for that - if at all.

So, in the mean time, could someone help to to understand why I would not qualify for the 99 TP compensation? What condition have I not met?

Here is a summary of the ticket I submitted:

I have not received the 99 TP compensation, despite having a 30-day Token sitting in my character’s personal storage. I received the Token as part of the Founder’s Server: Exclusive Access 2 (50% Off) DLC which I purchased on May 08. The Token has not moved out of my storage since I bought it on that date.

The response:

Greetings Savior,

Thank you for contacting us.

Upon further investigation, we have determined that your account was not eligible for the TP Compensation.

We apologize if we are unable to assist you regarding this matter.

If you have any other concern, please do contact us.

Regards,

:unamused:

Has anyone else not received compensation for a Token received from the 50% off DLC? Are those considered ‘Event Tokens’?

Just keep badgering them; because I honestly can’t think of why you didn’t qualify.

Attach a screenshot as proof.

Then it’s their duty to either hand over the TP or explain exactly why you aren’t eligible.

Which DLC did you buy?

@A_Tree: I did include screenshots in my report, I just didn’t include them here because they don’t really show anything other than the fact that I am not lying about what I am saying. :stuck_out_tongue:

@Gringe: It was the Founder’s Server: Exclusive Access 2 (50% Off) DLC, which you can no longer buy.

Having read your post I reviewed my TP compensation as well and did notice that I wasn’t compensated for the 30-day token I have for the same DLC pack that you have (mine’s in the mailbox/team message box - which is could be eligible still).

It seems they deemed it an “event” type though they never really specified anything about that in their announcement.

It could be that IMC missed to mention that as an “event” token but still:

Note: TP compensation will not apply to Event Tokens such as 60, 15 and 7-day Tokens.
[…]
Owning and/or using Event Tokens such as 60, 15 or 7-day Tokens will not grant you any form of TP compensation.
[…]
All non-event 30-day Tokens owned and/or being used by a team will make that team eligible for compensation, regardless of how the Tokens were obtained: purchased on the TP Shop, retrieved from the Market, obtained via a Veteran’s Pack DLC, etc.

Notice how there’s no mention of a 30-day token being NOT eligible or being an event token, and they kept stressing that example of event tokens are the “60, 15 or 7-day” ones. No mention of 30-day.

Now it could be eligible, it could be not. Unfortunately despite this being a lapse in communication from IMC’s end we cannot simply tell them that it is or should be eligible because it’s not clearly stated that it is either.

I won’t stress myself about it but if you really need that 99TP try submitting a ticket to them again and use my reasoning above.

Nevertheless, might as well tag some of the staff here:

@STAFF_Max @STAFF_Ines @STAFF_Ethan @STAFF_John

p.s. @Daenerys let me know if yours get resolved. I might reconsider submitting a ticket for mine as well. Thanks!

two of my guildies didn’t receive either, and both had 2 tokens.
one of them had a dlc token and one from market
the other have 2 market token.
no tp were given

Oh, and the ticket had the same response as yours

Evidently, any Token acquired through the Exclusive Access DLCs is simply not eligible.

After all, possessing a 60 day Token (Exclusive Access 1) doesn’t grant any compensation whatsoever either.

And favoring users who spent the least amount of money (Exclusive Access 3 doesn’t count) would not only be strange but also unfair.
