I a new to cleric class. Hope u guys can share some exp on this class. My intention is to have high dps build with relatively easier way to lvl up.

Why do ppl go cleric2>Dievdirby2 instead of cleric>Dievdirby2>cleric2?
I heard owl is OP. Do u think it is better to go straight to Dievdirby2 first?
Diev is a rank 3 class.
You can pick Cleric 2 at rank 2.
So going Cleric 2 -> Diev doesn’t really delay you from obtaining Diev skills.
People go Cleric 2 because it has an amazing healing capability and a very strong, reliable Safety Wall. Divine Might is good but it’s nothing too absurd.
PS. You can’t do Cleric 1 -> Diev 2 -> Cleric 2 because you skipped the rank 2 class (like i said, Diev is only rank 3).

Why do I keep seeing people make builds (on tosbase) like that if you can’t adv to older ranks? I know you can’t in iCBTs but now I’m getting confused trying to make a cleric.
I thought they may have changed it. (I didn’t get a chance to play open beta yet).
tosbase has some really outdated builds. Some even having skills that don’t exist anymore. Or even class circles that don’t exist anymore (like centurion)
The progression goes like this:
Rank 1 -> You pick Cleric 1
Rank 2 -> You can pick Cleric 2, Priest 1 or Krivis 1
Rank 3 -> You can pick Cleric 2 or 3, Priest 1 or 2, Krivis 1 or 2, Diev 1, Bokor 1
Rank 4 -> You can pick Cleric 2/3, Priest 1/2/3, Krivis 1/2/3, Diev 1/2, Bokor 1/2, Paladin 1, Sadhu 1
etc…
And of course, as an example you need too pick Priest 1 before you pick Priest 2. Or Cleric 2 before you pick Cleric 3.
To make it simpler for you, I recommend using the (updated) skill simulator:
PS. Some hidden classes have special requirements. To get Chaplain you need to be Priest 3 first. And hidden classes can only get one circle.
PS. When browsing tosbase builds, try to filter them by date so you don’t get super outdated builds.
