Why are you trying your best to ruin ToS?

Players should be allowed to transfer gear between their own characters on the same account without being penalized.

Players should be allowed to transfer silver between their own characters on the same account and without being penalized, in case you had the idea to also cut corners if you were to implement that.

You either need to completely unrestrict trading from tokens and stop ■■■■■■■ over your playerbase or you need to stop having tokens traded for in-game silver. Why? Because the entire reason for paywalling trades behind the token is to act as a counter-measure to botters. How exactly is that supposed to work when you can buy them for silver and botters are in the market of SELLING SILVER.

Why are you even limiting the number of runs on any particular dungeon in the first place? If I want to play the game and I want to grind that dungeon for X drops or because my friends need help or because I just like to grind dungeons instead of questing, what’s it to you?

Anything related to advantages that you sell in a cash shop should be perks, not borderline necessities. How could you not have learned this lesson from the countless other companies that tried this and sunk their otherwise good games into the ground?

TERA makes a great example for what you should be doing with your cash shop.

Sell cosmetics out the ass. Sell a bunch of different mounts or companions. Not necessarily STRONGER ones, but different ones. When you sell things like “storage space,” it shouldn’t feel like you’re FORCED to buy that space in order to play the game. It should be a matter of convenience. Oh well, I have enough space for a comfortable amount of things and I could buy more if I wanted to horde up different outfits or sets, etc… Hiding things like trading or dungeon runs behind purchases from your cash shop is something the bottom-tier F2P companies do that completely diminishes the respect players have for that company.

You have what could potentially be one of the greatest F2P titles on the market now and you’re well on your way to completely ■■■■■■■ yourselves out of a lot of business because you haven’t even gotten out the gate and you’re already doing a lot of scummy ■■■■ to ward off interest in this game.

I really hope you stop acting so desperate before your official launch and end up making a first impression you will resent in the future.

I supported a lot of games that are usually incomplete and they eventually evolved.

I see you’ve had a lot of frustrations and vented a lot of things mentioning ‘should’ve’ and comparing games to other games that has successes.

They have already posted things concerning trading and other implementations in bettering the game. So far what they did is gave players options if they want to spend money or not and at the same time buying themselves a bit more time to accommodate a huge flood of player incoming at the end of the month.

I do not understand how players expect a game that just got released last month to have a ton of vanity items or how you put it ‘cosmetics out the ass’. These things takes time, like any other MMOs that I have played over the years.

And I don’t see how you feel forced to buy storage space, let’s be honest less than 25% of the items you have in your inventory matters, the rest are trash. Gems can be fused, usually blue recipes are worth keeping and majority of the things can be sold in the market.

But then again I played through countless MMOs and have been through a lot of bullshit. This is not the worse of them, and I my capacity for patience and hope for this game is actually high, call it being biased. I am just glad someone had a better idea of carrying out a true successor to the Ragnarok franchise. [Yes I played RO2, that game sucked]

I don’t feel forced to buy storage space.

I feel forced to buy the token in other respects, I used storage space as an example between what is appropriate and what isn’t appropriate in regards to walling off areas of the game behind your cash shop because it’s a very popular option for this kind of microtransaction system.

As far as cosmetics are concerned, again, you’re completely ignoring the point. The point isn’t about whether or not they can release a hundred cosmetics ‘now,’ but rather it’s a popular means of getting money from your customers without pressuring them to pay you.

People who want to support the game are going to support the game.

Companies are too quick to force out large portions of players with these aggressive and shady tactics for trying to lure money out of them instead of letting the product stand on its own merits.

Like you said.

“People who want to support the game are going to support the game”

It’s really that simple.

Not everyone is going to agree on certain topics.

I would rather they just implmented a subscription only system, and kicked the stupid free to play with stupid microtransactions ■■■■ to the curb.

Free to play has never been done well, in any game. Sure, maybe financially, but they’re always a pain.

And no, Tera is not a great example. It’s a good example of how to split your playerbase into regular players, and pedophiles. It has that down pat.

maybe something like tibia you mean?

It’s F2P but P2E (Pay to Enjoy).

Then the game becomes about cosmetics and not the game itself. Bugs and fixes will come very slow as well as new content because in the end it’s the cosmetics is the one that gets money, not the game.

You’re going to have to elaborate in order to make sense of this train of thought.

If that was directed @ndsetobol then i think he means…

Something like Star Wars: The Old Republic. What he’s saying happened to swtor. They focused too much on the vanity; their Gatcha system to the point where that’s become their primary focus simply because it’s what makes them money.

Nobody’s saying they HAVE to make ONLY cosmetics, I just suggested it as an alternative to walling off the basic functions of the game behind cash shop items.

TERA, again as an example, produces plenty of cosmetic items for their cash shop and translates that revenue into big expansions for the game.

Good Idea dont limit dungeon runs plz so i can run with my rank 7 chara the lvl 90 and 130 dungeon 200 times a day ( 1 run takes 5 min). Ohhh yeah baby let arde daggers and patamion rain. And w8 there is a bonus so we can all be lvl 280 in 1 week OHHH YEAH BABY.

Yeah, there’s no way they could lower the drop rates on highly sought-after loot to compensate for being able to endlessly run them.

EXP on dungeons drop off, same as anything else, once you’ve out-leveled the mobs, although I don’t see a reason why grinding dungeons SHOULDN’T be a viable alternative to leveling if you don’t like to quest.

From this, it sounds like you’d like Diablo 3.

I have and play Diablo 3 for a while every time a new season starts.

Not sure what I said that would imply I liked Diablo 3, though.

Endlessly run dungeons, I dont mind that game either.

It just sounds like you’re trying to add a bunch of features from other games here. When this game is just plain different. Some will like it, some will not. The devs are working on things to improve it. But most seem quite blind to that fact.

Also, I agree with partially not fully changing trading, to allow people to help friends/guildies and helping peoples alts on the same accounts.

Not being penalized for trading items to your alternate characters…

Being able to give your money to your alternate characters…

Being able to trade, at all…

Having more than one slot in your account storage…

What about these things don’t work with ToS but work with almost every other game on the market?

Dont have major issues with it, meaning it has not blocked or stopped my enjoyment of the game. Does not matter to me if others do it or not, this is a different game.

And Ive played “bad” games even with those. Allods Online and Neverwinter Online, some people like these games I dont. No right or wrong. Also if you research those games, you will clearly understand I understand what things like P2W mean, and cash grabs. So far this game is quite limited on it, perhaps in the future itll get worse, but its not at those levels yet.

i agree and at this point this game is semi Mobile-Game in which developer constantly trying to put their hands on our pocket by basic needs.

All I see is Tos getting ruined by the community.

Care to elaborate on that?
