In a game I won’t tell the name, there was a special gacha for sets, you had 5 parts. I gambled 4 times, I got 4/5 from the set while the total cost would be x 3 from the game event currency xD
It was the craziest luck ever in a video game I played.

Like someone said, gacha p2w are common in “almost” or every koren mmo then?

It would be that simple if the costumes remains in the tp shop, but no. Now many people that regularly buy tp to buy costumes will not do anymore

The only way to get costumes now is though gacha. You can use the items you get from gacha and turn them in exchange points, you can then use these points to purchase headgear and costumes. You will no longer be able to buy costumes outright except C3 costumes if i read the news correctly.

Exactly. Gacha or the exchange shop and the points for the last one can only be acquired by, again, the gacha

I’m confused…

So right now we have:
Step 1: Buy TP
Step 2: Buy Costume 120+ TP

With this system we have:
Step 1: Buy TP
Step 2: Buy Gacha for costume 30TP
Step 3: Choose whether to exchange or keep reward.
*If you didn’t get wanted item and item isn’t new
Step 4: Exchange for medals. 30 medals (maybe more or less)?
Step 5: Buy Costume

Is this what the current breakdown is?

This is exactly the breakdown and why people are angry. Also you cant buy new costumes or headgear with the exchange points. New headgear and costumes can only be obtained through RNG(Gacha).

Wouldn’t we have to know what the medal prices are though? If they are fair the only people who really should be angry are those specifically trying to get new costumes because then they have to wait for those costumes to be available in the exchange shop.

So essentially this could be like a half rng depending on medal prices it really just rests on that for me.

On kToS. There just added a new option so nothing has changed in practice. We, however, have to be milked from money.

Not sure, but I don’t see any reason they wouldn’t cost the same price they do cost in tp now in recycle points.

As far as I understood, it goes like this:

  1. New costume is released, it is only rewarded through Goddess Cube purely through RNG for some days.

  2. After that said costume is considered “old”, it will be then added into the recycle shop as well so people who tried to get it during these days but couldn’t will now be able to buy that costume using the recycle points.

  3. You can buy those recycle points to buy other stuff like dungeon resets or other costumes in recycle shop.

Note: Circle 3 costumes stay as TP-only (and possibly never available through recycle shop?) most likely due to the fact they have severe class limitations.

Note: Non-Circle 3 costumes that already exist will be added into recycle shop (and removed from TP shop) and you’ll have to buy cubes and turn them into recycle points to buy those costumes now. Essentially nothing changed except you need to pay TP in multiples of 30 now to buy an existing costume.

So costumes will be 3/4x more expensive than now if you are unluck on gacha.
