Why are tp outfits class locked?

it seems more like they are shooting themselves in the foot here, i personally like the archer outfit for the newest set but i play a warrior, i don’t like the warrior school class outfit, if it actually wasn’t classed locked i would buy one, even the cockatrice outfit isn’t class lock so i don’t see why the spring or the school ones need to be locked

It’s just like saying a police can wear a firemans uniform at work.

which is why i didn’t say anything about the first tp outfit like paladin set for priest and ect. why can’t i use the school look uniforms again? they are all pretty similar in nature.

hey someone got to ask the stupid question to make you feel smarter

Why are tp outfits class locked?

if its not your class its not for you

Because it was made for each class respectively. So everyone can be unique and easily distinguished.

Wizard school look costume is the best costume IMO. So if I’m a swordsman I get to wear it because I like it? Yeah let’s get Jon Snow a Harry Potter look.

Well he could be basically become anything though. :smirk:

Yes he can be anyone. Ian McKellen is the MAN. :sunglasses:

Here he is reciting Archer’s Incantation from the anime FATE.

I think the thread of replies you’re getting in response to your question can be summed up as this:

The costumes need to be class locked in order for quick identification of a player’s class in PvP and other aspects of the game. If every class could look however they want, it would confuse gameplay immensely. Assessment and response would be dulled as you would have to target each player individually in order to identify their abilities. In a space ship game you don’t see ships that have the HP and firepower and capabilities of a capital ship in a hull the size of a frigate, it makes no sense.

Edited for clarity. -bob

What if all your opponents, be they wizards, archers, clerics, or swordsmen, just wear cock outfits?

will they all be using the same weapon to?

The same could be said for any of the TP classes though. So clearly “TP costumes are restricted by class because otherwise warriors can wear the same thing as wizards” isn’t the reason when things like cock outfits exist.

(also, with the exception of the archer, they could all use the same weapon in some cases if they really wanted to, though it wouldn’t be particularly optimal.)

Holy Sh*t that’s awesome!
