Have you asked Nintendo? Link for his most games was left-handed to until on Wii it was changed to right hand.
Well most other games are only right handed, Half-Life support both (or does only Counter-Strike?)
We need a mouth handed option.

I actually wondered this a long time ago and tried to place my sword in my right hand when I noticed it and was annoyed that it wouldn’t let me. XD
Why are characters in other games all right handed?

Cuz all right handed people like me are entitled to it.
Question:
Are the characters all left-handed? They were attacking with left hand when I watched a video clip.
Answer:
When characters are using weapons on right hand, characters are hardly visible on the screen so to make them more visible, we changed the sides. I never thought you would notice this…

You know I never thought of this until now… why are they left handed.
I don’t want to use any hands I should be able to use my feet to attack. It’s not fair i’m limited to just my hands.
being more serious now… it’s something that’s not going to really effect you and while yeah it would be nice to choose for your self I understand to make the game combat more visible they may have to limit you.
I want to use my mind to attack. Thats why i made a sadhu.
