Why Are R8 Attributes Unreasonably Expensive?

Before anything, let’s see how much prevoious rank attributes cost from 0 to 100.

R1- 12.381.611
R2- 24.763.273
R3- 37.144.940
R4- 49.526.602
R5- 61.908.260
R6- 74.289.926
R7- 86.671.581

As you can see each attribute level the cost increases about 12m which is somewhat reasonable. Even these prices look impossible to %99 of the players but then there is rank 8 attribute price which is basically impossible to ever max out.

R8- 328.488.673

What were the devs thinking? A jump from 87m to 328m is ridiculous! Not like R8 mobs drop silver accordingly. It is okay for a mmo to make maxing hard to keep its players hooked but this is nothing but terrifiying and discouraging even for the hardcore players. I Truly fear for the R9 content and 1b costing attributes. There is already a transcendence system in this game to keep players in game everyday. These attribute prices are truly unnecessary. Thanks for your time.

TLDR: R8 attributes are too expensive.

Most of that silver is isolated in getting your damage attributes from 90 to 100.

I doubt most players would bother spending anywhere close to 87m on attributes for rank 7 either.

I am fine with silver sinks. It helps keep the market balanced and not hyper inflated.

I am fine with it too. I am not fine with the gap R7 and R8 have. R8 could be maxed at 110m and It woulnt bother anyone.

Because the content is bad designed, it’s designed as R9 or R10 content, probably te latter.

Same happen with mob attributes (HP, def, mdef, etc…).

As for…

There are better and stable ways to do that instead of “patching” design errors with more problems than solution.

As for my opinion on the matter of attributes, it would be better to eliminate the enhanced ones, balance the formula for damage to scale with either patt or matt (X% + basedmg - mobdef) or the stats (STR, SPR, CON, etc…), and use other kind of attributes in place of the enhancements.

You are welcome to explain those better and stable ways, otherwise your point is meaningless.

I am uncertain, but I think that the overwhelming pricing as well as the power gap between R7 and R8 have to do with the overupped gears and the huge silver inflation drama pre R8 release.

Because IMC wants you to make 24/7 afk silver farmer toons to keep the population base up and make the silver you need for all those attributes.

IMC supports unfair gameplay and whales.
Not making enough silver?
Make more farm bots/toons is the way to go in Tree of Farmers.

IMC Logic:
Make everything 5 to 10 times more expensive. Keep silver drop the same or worse. Bees forever it is.

IMC digged the hole themselves by allowing afk farming and botting.

This just further discourages legit players and drives them away from playing TOS.

For most %dmg attributes in rank 1 - 7 classes, the silver increment is at a 7% rate per attribute level. For rank 8’s case, the increment is increased to 8.5% per attribute level. Just a mere 1.5% made huge increases in the amount of silver needed when it is stacked exponentially.

They probably want to use the time sink to buy more time to create content, since min-maxers will undoubtedly spent a lot more time trying to max them out. Or to create silver sinks that will last longer since silver will always come in as time goes by. These attribute silver sinks will only last until they are filled and not ‘bottomless’.

I do feel it is a pain to us, the players though. The silver sinks in R8 is really too much, 500 per taoist paper and 10k alfafa hay for guinea pigs… my own guinea pigs at home are cheaper to maintain :sob: (if they aren’t sick)

If they made it for people like me they wouldn’t make much money. I pay for TP but not often.
