may I know why some players are buying kepa stem for 50 silver? maybe it is used for something besides kepa doll that I dont know about.
For upgrading gems? Cheaper and more supply
because that only 10 silver per exp for gems (almost any material in game can be used to upgrade gems and they usually give 5 exp per material piece). Monster gems are like 250-300k and give 15800 exp (15-20 silver per exp). So buying tons of cheap loot is a more money efficient than doing it with monster gems.
Still baffles me. Cant you just get normal Gems from Crystal Mines chests and change channels for the chest to continously appear?
thanks for the response guys. haven’t tried the gem feature of the game yet. will try later. the only thing I noticed about gems is that they drop when you die lol. I have around 10 in my inventory when it happened.
thats what i do lol, you can get a thousand of em in a couple of minutes if you know the respawn locations and rotate the map properly
you cannot rotate maps when you are afk, in that case you can just setup buy-in shop for cheap loot.

Maybe a dumb question on my side here, but I saw only one chest while questing there and I think I needed a key to open that one?
They respawn from time to time. They are also at the same location so you can just switch channels to see if theyre there. The chests at the early levels of crystal mine has no need for a key

i thought you meant the breakable crystals at crystal mine 2F lol, just run around the map and pop them you get 15-30 crystals for each one you pop, and they have a respawn rate like the monsters lol
I’m not sure those can be used for gem enchancing… but they sell pretty well (40 silver ea to npc iirc).
Low level loots are good for enhancing gems, they are easy drops from mobs and you can sell or buy them easily from 20-50 depending on the buyer. 
Money is so easy to get at the higher levels, every time i visit the market now i pretty much buy all gem materials available up to around 150-200 silver each.
Thats not an abuse. How is it different on changing channels to fight more mobs?

Gems are 100 exp each. To level a gem from 7 to 8 takes more than 800,000 gem exp. Have fun doing that for days on end.
Yeah, technically it is clever use of game mechanics, but are treasure chests not supposed to be opened only once? At least that’s how it feels…
If it is supposed to be opened only once, you wont get to see it anymore. Whoever gets to it first is the key
