Whole Grim Reaper system just made everything worse than before

Dunno what you guys are talking about. Ive been happily farming Dina with my pyro. The reapers doesnt bother me, i just dont put fireballs near them obviously lol

The other manual farmers just lure reapers to clear out the necros and farm afterwards.

I see someone is brainless here, ok :ok_hand:

I guess if they changed:

  1. Warlock’s Invocation skill to have a limit on the amount of dark spirits you can make or drain SP based on the amount of spirits you have already.
  2. Sorcerer and Necromancer summons to be stronger and resistant to boss knock backs and knock downs, but have a shorter duration similar to zombies from Bokor.
  3. Pets so that they go to sleep after the player character dies and not be able to get EXP or silver if they don’t have stamina.
  4. Amount of silver gained from killing monsters so that it decreases after a certain level above the monster being killed.
  5. EXP gained in share party to depend on the level of the person killing the monsters.
  6. Higher level maps to give more silver and have more monsters in them.
  7. Cafrisun Set buff, Sacrament, Enchant Fire/Lightning and other similar effects, that give another line of damage, to use a small amount of SP each time you basic attack.

A bit of explanation…

  1. It would make it so warlocks can still use invocation but not clutter the map so much with spirits so other player have a better chance at fighting the monsters.
  2. Sorcerers and Necromancers are in a weird spot where they lack the damage to do things at higher level most of the time, increasing the familiar effectiveness would help them greatly. Decreasing the amount of time the familiars stay around helps combat the AFK nature of the classes.
  3. Decreases the chance of players using pets to AFK farm.
  4. Higher level players would be less likely to take lower level grinding spots.
  5. Similar reason to 4, the players far above the map level wont be able to give EXP so easily to lower level teammates.
  6. Similar reason to 4.
  7. I feel like this would be more balanced class wise and help to discourage the Priest class bots.

Just things I could think of off the top of my head. :stuck_out_tongue: now someone translate all that into Korean or w.e so the Devs can read it properly.

I wish that was true, too bad I run 140 dungeon 3 times and mercenary 3 times using the 8x exp tomes and doesn’t even got more than 160. Just thought it would be good to see how the exp were there and got all this. It’s just sad the game doesn’t have any grindable spots other than Alemeth anymore. Dungeons 230 and 260 are pretty bad for exp and mercenarys starts to lack some exp giving no other choice than questing that’s why I tried to avoid quest at those level. Maybe the problem is just the grinding on map systems not being optimized at all.

It’s the Necromancers fault they spawn.

#Blame the player, not the game.

But it is true. It just won’t happen in one day. I’ve made about 8 rank 8’s so far and this pattern has worked every time. If you want to rush you only need to pick the RIGHT spots to quest. There’s a level req chart for exp cards, look at that and quest in the area. More often than not. Once you hit about the 210 mark you need to start questing. Alemeth onward. Then you go to mesafasla onward. and then you go do the quests east of klai. The only grind i usually end up doing is maybe maven and that doesn’t even last an hour.

But i understand you just want to grind instead. I respect that but this is the fastest way to do it.

EDIT: There is good grinding spots onward as well. Just the one around 230 is a little harder to get to. Evac.

after that you do storage 252 ish. and then you can hit up work shop. Another great place too.

Maven is decent too as well. 260 ish for that.

grind from 200 to 250 on truffles+all quests(9 lvl cards+)+some 14 lvl cards from 300+ mobs killing+map exporation on r8 that’s the way to get easy 330 in 2-4 days after 250

I might want to slow down the pace then. Do it with couple chars at least maybe. And it’s not like I hate quests or am a grinder myself (have a friend that is tho and he suffers a lot from that, he loved RO and hoped he could have a grind fest here too) it’s just that doing ONLY QUESTS is kinda boring. Would not go as far to say time consuming as grinding would consume the same amount or talking about the current pace of the game much more time, but, just straight up boring going thru 5 whole maps that all the quests consists of getting rocks and killing mobs and hoped to be able to hm… take the better of the two worlds? A bit of grind when quests bore me you know. I am someone that gets bored of a grinding in a pace of 2 to 3 hours anyway but not being able to do a bit of both to ease the boringness is what saddens me. Might try Evac and Maven, too bad from that onwards they say lv 300 map are horrible even with nerfs, at least I heard dungeon 290 have a good exp. Also is it just me or dungeons 230 and 260 still give like, terrible exp?

so I should start to farm mob and map lv14 cards by now (258 level) is what you trying to say? It’s pretty hard to level up now.

That was a good idea.

No silver or loots earn after 5 or 10 min of afk. Done!

You people are full of ■■■■.

I’ll give you a real solution.

More maps with spawns rates that people actually enjoy.
Then just set in an AFK Timer of 1 hour unless queued for content or having a shop open.

Actually totally en pointe. I hate the AFK Necro ■■■■ and think it should be removed via changes to the Necromancer class that makes it a real ■■■■■■■ class isntead of AFK farmer, but I also hate that there are legitimately like 5 real maps that are worth grinding on in the entire game, and barely any channels for them on top of that.

Klaipeda and Orsha should enjoy the changes.
IMC made it like Trump. We have a problem? Nuke it.
Problem solved by creating another one.

that’s the part where you are now, mobs for lvl 14 cards is the latest step

ALL quests? ALL lv9 10 11 12? I have to do this many quests?

yes, it’s way faster than grind;yes, it’s boring enough, but you can do it in like 2-4-6 days and get to 330

no dungeon grinding in between? grinding parties are hard to come by especially on weekdays

290 dungeon is ok after 290, 260 not worth it.
About grinding you truffles to 250 is enough and after questing/290/maybe some sia if you have enough time for que; but the way that I pulled for you before is the best and fast way to get to 330 lvl.
From my experience when I was grindding abbey/storage it took more time than questing, even with tomes.

Was there ever a level range when there was shortage of exp cards like back then with level 140-160?

Also, are there quests worth keeping (i.e. not turning in for free teleport)? This is what actually slows me down. I have this unusual urge to always keep at least one quest (usually repeatables or the last quest that aren’t prerequisites) for every map in case i need to go back to that map in the future

Don’t think there are such quests, because you need to do all of them (except Tevhrin quests), the hardest lvls are 327+, but with 12-13-14 cards you won’t feel a lot of problems, just do evrything, also you can skip Timerys map(autoaim mobs there) and last quest at Jonael Commemorative Orb ( it has hard boss fight) another quests are not problematic forreal, maybe some quests with bosses at Alembique Cabe and Arcus Forest. Oh. also 2 Centavr bosses in 1 fight at Khamadon Forest
