Whoever Designed the Items Needs to be SHOT DEAD

I’m too lazy to get links or screenshots so please just bear with me on this one. I’ll update this with visual examples later but I just need to rant about how it feels like whoever was in charge to designed in-game items/equipment is a complete troll/douche.

For instance, I recently discovered an amazing weapon for my main (a Cryo 3): the Audra. It has 265 Magical Attack, AOE Attack Ratio +1, All Cryomancer Skill Levels + 2, and 15% chance to inflict Freeze with an Ice Property Skill

Sounds amazing, right?

But then it turns out that this weapon that I thought was a God sent was a Staff…

A staff…when Cryomancer has special attributes with Rods and Shields (I invested in all of those attributes by the way to make my Cryo lean more towards the defensive side)

I’m just extremely bothered by how I would need to sacrifice my Rod+Shield specialties to utilize the amazing effects of this staff. My Hubby already suggested weapon swapping, which is possible but that is not the point.

This is not the first time that I’ve seen items that classes do not specialize or have any attributes in have amazing effects for them while a lot of the equipments that they do specialize in are lackluster in comparison.

I may just be extremely salty about this but am I the only one experiencing this frustration? I love this game to pieces but the equipment designs are driving me nuts.

You cannot burn the candle at both ends.
Just choose one.

and I don’t see why the designer has to be shot dead…:no_mouth:
sorry bout that.

yep just swap ur weapon.

I actually think that’s a good design. You should not have a be-all-end-all item build. You need to sacrifice something to utilize something.

If that is a rod then everyone would be using it, right?

There are a lot of issues with item balance and lack of items between levels but your issue is not one of them.

Also no one needs to be shot dead.

Inappropriate title, selfish reasons, cry me a river.

I call it diversity. If you are in doubt of which combination, it’s probably balanced or near it. +1 for IMC.

Problem would be a bow with magic bonus like the last cbt (awakening fixed buff). THAT was a problem, as we couldn’t use it.
