Who would you party with?

As much as I like to think that that’s all you need to get a party it simply doesn’t do for a lot of people, personally I also just take anyone if we have a tank and a healer (sometimes I myself fill this spot making it even easier) but a lot of people just refuse to take in ‘‘unoptimal’’ builds, this is particularly glaring for Wizards in say, Second Demon Prison, where every single one of the mages I know was left aside if they didn’t have Linker, thankfully the guild manages to make parties but this won’t always be the case, the world is full of ‘’’’’‘Min-Max’’’’’’ players and sometimes you just have to deal with them, although they refuse to deal with you.
I remember this time where this guy REFUSED to take in a Priest and a Krivis that where just standing there waiting to do the Lv50 Dungeon, like, dude it’s literally the easier dungeon in the game we don’t need two copletely dedicated DPSs to do fine, we have a Linker even come on.
We ended leaving him alone and got lucky with another Peltasta, but you get the point.

@Jariu Exactly, a reason why I quite like the idea that Templar is only available for Swordsman where he can (and should be imo) play the role of a tank as well.
I understand the “Min-Max” players, I understand it very very well, which is the reason I get so sick of the modern so-called “MMORPG”.
There is however a way to drift out these kinds of players. You can either make it that classes have a role to play with and they are not homogenized to have access to everything (this is what every “Min-Max” players want, and the modern “MMORPG” welcomed them by designing such feature), or simply establish a community that the community itself punish whoever doesn’t behave well in the environment (refusing / blacklist a certain jerk, spreading out the news to drop down his / her reputation, refuse to take in him / her to a party). Or you can just make ToS a game that is very difficult to solo and this’ll definitely drift out these kinds of players as well since they always think they are God who are able to do everything themselves and look down on others to boost their own ego or some other craps that fix their insecurities in real life.

When I am playing a Wizard, SP recovery class in Paladin (Cleric) maybe helpful. Got heal, recovery and defensive ability. I may spec as a full support Wizard, having a hybrid Cleric maybe a good idea.

When I am playing a full support Cleric, DPS class seems to work better for me.

Actually, the more mobs there are, the less you need a linker unless all the party consists of single target dps (which is silly).

This beta won the name Tree of Barbarian who do you think was flooding that area.
There’s also people that don’t fully understand the benefit of sheer AoE and for them Linker is just ‘‘YOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO’’.

A non linker AOE DPS wizard actually deal more damage in Demon Prison. I would say it’s more of a misunderstanding due to Linker C1 is more viable at early game.

Personally I would prefer a pure DPS wizard compared to linker C1 (C2 and above is fine though) if I have a peltasta in the party.

Linker C1 remain an all rounder though, they can fit in any kind of party if you don’t plan to achieve the maximum possible grinding rate, but a good exp per hour.

I pity the utility (or PVP) wizard class without linker though, they will usually be left out because they don’t deal enough damage in grinding.

Yes I know non-Linker DPS AoE Wizard will deal more damage, but a lot of people don’t know/care because they want to deal damage themselves and if they aren’t doing it its going to make their E-dicks smaller.

Well, I usually don’t have the problem as I’m always the party leader, lol.

That does in fact make stuff a hella lot easier, we only need less entitled Peltastas really.

pyromancer / linkers with maxed enchant fire (as a priest auto attacker)

As a dps sadhu c2 (with cleric c2) I only need a linker with thauma to get happy <3

I partied with 3 other Cleric as a Cleric myself, but finding too much redundant on heal.
Here is the party:
Swordsman
Cleric / Priest C2 / Krivis
Cleric / Krivis C2 / Sadu
Cleric / Priest C2 / Paladin
Cleric / (forgot, but mostly Priest) /

Perhaps we were low level, but basically we are offering Heals (Heals tile all over the place). I think there is a diminish return as a support class. I think 2 support class in a party of 3 - 5 would be enough with 1 of the support being a healer.

Nuke them with the Heal bombs!!!

Btw, I am Cleric 2, Krivis , Bokor -> to be druid/PD. Anything linker make me a killing machine!
