Just wanna know if people still feel confident reaching pardoner C2 and even C3 (knowing new spell is only crap).
Am I the only one still waiting for the reworks IMC talked us about?
There is a build that uses a few ranks of pardoner + PD not sure how common it is though. Its a incinerate build.

Right now crafting classes are being debated alot due to the wonky market/trade system we have.
indeed + the fact that there is only few relevant skills scrollable and sellable :).
yea they kept removing scrolls and buffs to the point pardoner has only got a few good ones left. like danio is decent or blessing/sacrament for low lvl players.
Daino/Barrier/Dispeller scrolls are decent.
Sacrament buffs from spell shop see some use as well, but blessing still has the hit limit so it’s really lousy. Aspersion doesn’t seem to be in high demand.
That’s pretty much it though.

there’s a few earth tower vids around with non-pallys using barrier, so unless that’s a pretty recent change?
I’d be particularly concerned with the viability of non-pally clerics in ET without barrier scrolls.

But for earth tower, aside of paladin:

Dievdirby will do fine.
Mobs like to attack the totems for 1 dmg a time, and aoe invuln/silence/slow also help a lot. -
Chaplains can still do the first 5 floors with relative ease. But floor 6 should be pretty bad for them.
Not sure just how much cc/protection a wizard can bring though.

Any int build can run pardoner/plague doctor for the incinerate + discern evil combo.
But aside of that you’ll need to look at money maker builds, aka simony/spell shop.
And i don’t feel comfortable suggesting such variants when i don’t know the up to date skill lists.
