So this is set in Eastern European background. So why is the king’s moseleum all sudden in Egypt?

this is another world that takes inspiration on this world…

not all of it belongs to a specific section of earth

I knew Hauberk would be an interesting topic…

Another intriguing topic for me would be Beholder… so mysterious…

I do. It slows me down, but it helps me not feel as aimless.

b> reference of what lydia schaffen and ruklys look like

Am I the only one who hates the goddesses? I don’t know the story but I get the feeling that our characters are doing their dirty work. They seems deceitful and manipulative. I wanna smash their heads in with my cleric blunt weapons.

I read about 80% of it depending on how much of a hurry I’m in. Some quest don’t allow such luxuries and will assault you while you’re trying to. I skip everything I seen already on altz.

me

as a char of my other 18 chars.

i playing this char when i have nothing to do or no online friend ask for activity

i would switch to this char and playing slowly, read dialog, enjoy bgm, art, map
i don’t even run dgx3 or mission becoz no one playing in that time
just do every quest slowly and slowly

I try to read as much story text as i can, however very often it’s not possible due to monsters attacking me while i’m talking to a NPC/reading a book so i have to smash spacebar and skip dialogue so i can defend myself.

I find most of the dialogue interesting, the only thing i hate is that the main story, at least as far as i understood is, is a prophecy-story… And i hate those. “You’re the revelator, you’re the one bringing balance, only you can do it, bla bla”… i hate prophecy-stories because it takes away free will from your character and basically tells you from the beginning how the story will end.
To me it doesn’t feel like me going “i’m gonna save the world, with the rest of my friends, because i feel like it”, instead it feels more like “you’re the revelator, Now shut up and find the revelations!”.

While questing i was most interested in the stories behind the Royal Mausoleum, Mage Tower, Tenet Church, the petrified cities and Demon Prison.

the only one I have read was the quest of Magic Tower.

That girl following me like a pet made me read everything she told, but because I wanted it. Was the only part where I was excited about the story ( in the good way your dark mind).

The quest in demon prison is good, but its not so emotional.

Then do you know who the woman you lead through the tower actually is? Everyone hates that part because she gets in the way of playing the game and fighting but I actually like that part.

No, sorry. I really read everything she told, if I remember the first time we talk something about the tower, was on Femidian. But when I did this part was about more or less August of 2016, then I stopped play, now I came back with reset rank, I dont remember anymore, but I never forget this part (the only part) where I read the guide lines.

I have yet to read a single piece of dialogue from an NPC

She’s actually the Goddess Gabija’s little fire bird. At the very end she dives into the pit and comes back out revealing herself. I never noticed it my first couple characters.

The phoenix looking bird thing is actually that woman called Gritas. I thought at first she was going to be the goddess in disguise that whole time but was wrong though very close!

Hate = no

But I have 0 trust in them…

always feels like they are hiding something from me and I don’t like that…

I remember nothing anymore. I barely remember about this fenix.
I have to reroll a character, so I will enjoy it again.

but thanks for the try. and congratulations, this means you enjoyed this part as well. Maybe I will read more instead space bar, but just as Adventure Journal, except for immersion it provide, the big part of quests are just repetitive “help me with a job problem”, and very boring, and the reward is nothing more than immersion 99% of time.

funny fact: The ones who reroll too much character never will forget Paladin vs that demon girl meet, then, you go to Tenet Church, fight her, she run, you take the revelation inside that little room, and then… smash space button when the goddess talk about the story hahahahhha, no one read that part
The first revelation that you bring to the Bokor Master everybody do that as well.

When someone start to put too much atention on the story, and know FF:Crisis Core, start to feel just as Genesis on Tree of Savior, searching the GIFT of the Goddess, instead be her savior haha

I read that part too. Basically Laima had visions of the future and none of the other goddess’ believed her at the time which leads to all the problems. So she splits her powers up into all the revelations in an attempt to prevent her from being corrupted by the whole Medzio Diena world tree thing that happens. They reveal the first ever Paladin’s role in all that story right there and why the other Paladin even appears.

Parts where I stopped caring was after level 200 because the game is such a buggy and poorly designed mess it’s hardly worth powering through for plot. Plot might as well be now that nothing matters in the end with the world being forever in despair unless you open gacha cubes. This will keep the mighty overlord demon Kim Hakkyu at bay giving you enough power to fight the evil spawn he has created.

That one bytch who follows you around in the Magic Tower needs to get her skull bashed with cleric weapon because I need to click the damn book/lantern/etc to do the quests and she stands right on top of em.

Hauberk didn’t betray the revelator, the revelator betrays Hauberk.
why?
because the goddess say to do so, convincing the revelator that hauberk would betray you. :no_mouth:

blue quests are the most important to understand about the lore.
yellow quests are just yay I’m the hero lets save the world.
50%~60% of the blue quests are filler, good luck finding lore.
books are…books, they tell things. Important things.
nevertheless I did read them all.
sometimes something ends abruptly and then comes back 100 levels later.
sorry don’t ask me about specifics, too much stuff to remember.

their relationship is really well explained, however it’s all scattered around different level ranges and places, books, blue quests.

There is a book that tell about the goddesses somehow trying to erase a part of the past from people’s mind and documents, probably to hide that the goddesses and devils are the same kind.
It doesn’t give much details about, because it was erased.
