Tree of Savior Forum

While everyone is focused on the class reset debates

…I’m just here with the dying fire of hope being fanned again by IMC with their recent update regarding the performance improvement tests they’ve been doing and everyone has been nagging them about since the last time they did one months ago:

perf1 avg time: 31.6ms / max time: 137ms
perf2 avg time: 25.5ms / max time 266.6ms
avg time difference: 6.1ms / max time difference: -129.6ms
avg time improved 0.8 times / max time improved 1.9 times

▲ MAINLOOP: Overall game performance time. The time required to render and show a frame in-game. FPS will increase as this number decreases.

Thats cause 99% of any game forum is where people come to complain, not acknowledging when the Devs does something good.
Even when its a fix / part of a fix for said complaints.

Lets hope it’s not the same as previous ‘improvement’ where it doesn’t affect GvG or worldboss.

This was discussed a bit before in this other topic:

Not trying to be a downer, but looking at that from a technically stand point its a very small performance increase that does not affect crowded area’s at all.

IE there will be no improvement to anything that has more than a couple of people doing stuff. (Like the internal tests).

Nothing will change unless they fix the god-awful netcode that doesnt let the game render properly with players on the screen.

I think it will at least fix the ice wall and summon fps drags that near exloit levels of unfair.

Guys, there is no possible way you will see a huge improvement with the Engine we have right now. Expect small boost here and there that will help some and not others. Even still however, it’s an improvement and they’re working on things so that’s always a plus.

You will most likely never have the FPS you want in Cities, Dungeons, GvG or regular ol’ PvP.

Remember seeing the mobile announcement and thinking… well if they port it… It’s not going to work. Maybe they’ill fix some of the PC client while they build the mobile version.

Even if its a small improvement its still something. It means they are working on the thing that people complain about the most which is good.

The last thing they did improved my fps a little and this probably will too.

90% of the forum users are haters, and not fans. The true fans of tos spend more time enjoying the game than criticizing imc. These topics full of rage, instead of motivate new players to play, demotivate the current players. So I don’t even look these threads anymore because it makes me sad, because depending of these players, I doubt itos will be a fun to play with this kind of people. I hope they are not majority.

well the true fan would be someone who spend more time catch bots and active in suggestion thread while enjoying the game rather than spent their time being miserable for nothing.

No criticism allowed, speak one bad bad word about IMC and you’re a HATER!

The majority already left, I mean take a look at the early access numbers and compare them to present, most founders already left the game.

isn’t that the same dumb logic you use to call others white knights?_?

There is no problem in criticise some aspects of the game that haven’t pleased you. But there is a lot difference in saying that in a respectful way instead of: “I’m going to quit if you don’t this”, “IMC only cares for money”, “The game will die” “huehuehue”, etc. It doesn’t help the community, the game, and the staffs. An example is that because of these thread full of rage, the forum stays a lot unorganized, there is so much threads talking about the same topic, that other constructive threads is overshadowed for these childish feedback.
