So I know if I need to spam this letting them do +100% bonus DMG:
Anybody can take advantage of that by auto attacking with a mace weapon. For skills, Highlander, Peltasta, Rodelero, Cataphract, and Barbarian. Those are the ones with good strike skills that people will actually invest in. There are a few more but those skills suck so you’d be hard pressed to find someone actually using them. Pelt and Rod will probably benefit the most since almost all their skills are strike.
But most pelt I see just keep holding up their shield all the time… and I’ve never seen a rodelero.
OK I’ll keep an eye on highlander, cata, and barb!
Rods are quite rare. Highlander only has 2 strike skills, Carter Stroke and Crown and only the first one will do some actual damage. Barb only has 1 in Helm Chopper but many Barbs leave this at lv1 for utility only.
I think your best bet for this skill are Chaplains, then any Cleric. They all use mace and they’re all auto attack beasts.
Monks would love you.
Also to add, one of Fencer’s skill which is used everytime it is ready is also strike based.
I have seem lots of these bad tank or tank wana-be’s around missions/dun, i even told one, you won’t hold aggro by just blocking, and BAM, the mobs started to spread out after the group after a while, or the boss decided to attack the QS that was behind it.
I doubt most of them even take Provoke attribute.
At Pelt C2, High Guard have a nice attribute that double the damage of UB by doing multi hit (2x only tho), but still, with provoke you cause some threat generation that will keep your team at easy.
As for the OP thread, you can equip a mace on your swordie, but only for basic attacks(?) not sure if there is any attack that work without sword/spear.
ermm… does strike and slash the same?
Nope. They are different
cata’s earth wave is strike
You’ll probably see more Rodeleros in preparation for Murmillo. Also, more Monks after next patch, since they’re getting huge buffs, and do Strike damage. Cartar Stroke is probably the biggest strike damage skill that’s commonly used, so anyone with at least one rank in highlander.
